I don't see him as a winger anymore. He is more of a forward now.

I though about them. I'd have Nani above them all.

Nah, very few Spurs (Bale is the only one) or Arsenal (all the good 'uns have gone) would walk into the Manc teams.

City have the biggest roster which is why they are good in a league but not so good in the champs league

Either you are unbelievably biased, or you are an idiot. Anyone with any kind of football nous would take any of those players over the wingers ManU have, without question. Any of those players would walk into virtually every first eleven in the world - the top clubs that already have them are the exceptions. The only aspect to consider is age, but for pure quality, you surely can't believe Nani is better than any of them....

Oh right, I get it, you're trolling. Right? Haha, good one.

I didn't mean the top tier teams, I meant every other team, which they would. Lloris and Bale would be near guaranteed starters at every team except maybe City for the former though. I guess though it is a matter of perspective.

Lloris?

What about Bentley?

Hahaha.

You see here is the thing. Just because i don't agree with your dribbles doesn't mean i'm biased or an idiot.

I have been watching football from all over the world actually at the games since about 1989. I have seen more of the game, i know more about the game than you.

I bet you have been watching what? 2-3 years? Try going to games, you can watch things other than the ball and make your own mind up.

You sound like a bad pundit working for Aus TV.

Of the players mentioned i'd take none of them above Nani.
Now sorry to point stuff out to you but a team has more than one player, so its possible Nani can play in the same team. Of the ones listed, Ribery a few years back (not now) and possibly Sanchez would make the United team.

I meant every team, being able to get into a few teams is meaningless. Lloris can only just get into Spurs team so just shush about him.

I've watched those players - and Nani - play more than enough times. I've seen many people with far more football nous than you, and more than enough fans of both ManU and so many other clubs (i.e. all of them), say the same things I am. That any of those wingers would walk into ManU's side. You dramatically over-rate Nani - you seem to think that when he hits form he is the best winger in the world. Anyone with half a brain can see that any of the wingers I mentioned poop on him from great height when they are in-form too. It is not a matter of opinion. Those players are better than Nani. Just the same that Lionel Messi is obviously a better player than Wayne Rooney. Di Maria alone is both a better goal-scorer, more versatile and a far better provider. He is also far more consistent. If you deny that stuff, you have redder glasses than anyone else. In fact, it might be a red face instead.....

And that proves you don't know sh*t, when one also looks at all of your "predictions" and the way you castigate La Liga and other European leagues. Yeah, a team can have more than one player. But if any team had any of the wingers I've mentioned as well as Nani, Nani wouldn't get a look in as far as the first eleven goes. That I can guarantee. He's inconsistent as all hell and his best doesn't come anywhere close to someone like Di Maria, Robben or Hulk.

You have just painted yourself as the most biased idiot on this forum. You think only Sanchez and the old Ribery would make the United team? So you are telling me that Ashley Young and Antonio Valencia are better players than Hulk, Angel Di Maria, Arjen Robben and the like? You cannot be serious. You cannot be serious. Those players make every ManU winger look like a park footballer :crazy:Oh right, according to you, ManU have the best team in the world, Rooney is the best player in the world, RVP is the best forward in the world, Evans will be the best CB in the world ahead of Pique and friends, Patrice Evra is still the best LB in the world, Nani is the best winger in the world on form, Ozil will struggle, Pique is over-rated, Falcao isn't that good, Messi won't win the Ballon D'or because he didn't win as many trophies as Ronaldo, etc, etc, etc!

Oh my lord  You clearly don't know anything. Lloris only stayed on the bench for a while because AVB was letting him settle in first, that and Friedel was playing very well at the time. Most Spurs fans and outsiders agreed that AVB left him there for too long though. Now that he is a consistent starter, he is proving his worth. And yes, I've watched him well before there was even a hint he would come to Spurs. Everyone agrees he is world class. Several times against Real Madrid, he was the only thing between them and a ridiculously bad loss for Lyon. He would pop up in almost any team (bar one or two) in the league, that is hardly a few. Bale would feature heavily for any side in the league, you can't deny that. He'd definitely start at Chelsea, Arsenal, and he would have a very decent chance of starting at both ManU and ManC. Every other team in the league he would simply walk into.

You know what? You win. Ignored buddy. Makes me feel really good. I hope you feel the same. If I ever want to see SAF stalking the forums in the flesh again, I'll let you know. Cheers.

The fact that you get all your "knowledge" from channel 9's soccer weekly or something means when someone disagrees with you, you have nothing but bluster and name calling.

IF (big if at the moment) United were to play wingers and everyone is fit then its either:

---------------RVP

Kagawa------Rooney------Nani

or:

---------- RVP
Rooney -------------Nani.

Thats the first team. I'm sorry channel 9 thinks Hulk, Robben, or Di Maria can get into that team, but i don't. I can back my opinion up with reasons, you can back yours up with nothing but insults because you are that clueless.

But i'm glad your ignoring me, i have zero respect for your knowledge, your walls of text are so wrong its laughable and you have a wierd obsession with a French goalie who no one else cares about.

So bye bye. Finally i can discuss United in the United thread without number one muppet sticking his ill-informed remarks in.

First half we played a blinder. Could of been 3 or 4 up.

Welbeck was outstanding, Carrick ran the show and the support cast were very good.

We still have an annoying habit of letting teams back into it though, i'd like us to get more clinical now the business side of the season has started.

Still not convinced by Kagawa in the prem but i'm holding of judgement until he has time to find his feet.

Other than that, very nice day at the office.

Good to see it took us 45mins to get started against you lot. Evra's ball for RVP's goal was an absolute cracker. Your tempo an passing killed us in the first half, and it definitly didn't help that everytime we would get possession we'd stand on te ball or pass it back to Reina.

Our timidness killed the first half for me, if we'd have set up like we did in the second half from the start then I think it would've been an even better game. Any of you united lads happy we had a game without bloody controversy for once.

Also think Kagawa was pretty good Wire. Seemed to be everywhere in attack and looked good with ball at his feet.

Maybe i was tainted by the end of the match where he couldn't keep it, and basically looked done in. I still expect more from him, he is a pass and move type player and so playing with attackers like Cleverly, Welbeck and RVP he should be doing more.

I like to be harsh on United players though. If he played for someone else, no doubt i'd be thinking we should've bought him!! :D

There would of been a few decisions of controversy if it had finished all square. The bit when Reina was injured and Liverpool played on, but as soon as they messed up the ref blew to give him attention was the most annoying thing about the game. You decided to play on, so play on. :?
Also the two reds and a pen but meh. We'll save them decisions until we need them. :)

It was pleasing to see the two biggest teams in the land play out an absorbing (in a horrible kind of way, i was done in by the end) game without any of the usual bullsh*t which the media seem to like beating up players over. Not even a "deliberate" hand ball goal or a bad tackle, the press must of been gutted. :D

Well that was a shame. Up until Valencia did what he does best and look 3 yards of the pace i thought we went alright.

Welbeck once again proved he is a top quality forward.

The mid looks like its getting a bit more on its game. Some good stuff both attacking and defensively.

I'd maybe thing of giving RvP a weeks rest now Rooney is back. He needs to get more involved in the game other than just goal scoring.

Obviously it was a pen. I'd like to hear from the ref why he didn't give that.

But f*ck it. The refs have been trying to dick us all year and we are still top. Thats all the top teams played away from home now. Time to turn the machine on and roll our way to a 21st league title.
