Roooooooooooneeeeeeeey! What a striking pair we have. Almost impossible to keep them both out.

Good solid win over a good solid opponent. I was beginning to grow tired of Everton and their penchant for late arsiness against us.

Good solid loss for the pretend big club across town. Not dealing too well with the pressure of defending a title.

Its going well at the moment.

We have Real to worry about now though whilst City can put there feet up.

I'm back after being away for about 11 days. Brefore I left we were 7 points ahead and when I return we are 12 ahead. Maybe I should leave for another 11 days and we may be 17 points ahead. ;-)

If we can eke a 16 point lead by the time we play citeh at OT, we can win the league with 6 games to spare by beating them. That would be the ultimate.

What a strike by Rafael. Good clearance off the line and a sublime pass that Van Persie nearly scored from as well. I was calling for his head after the two mistakes that let Everton nick a point at OT last season and ultimately cost us the title, but he has been fantastic for us this season. Really starting to mature into a quality attacking fullback.

He still has parts of his game he needs to work on.

for example he cannot win every ball all the time, so sometimes just jockey the other guy and make him do something to beat you.

Also he can shut off when he should be following a shot in. for example the Sturridge goal vs the scousers.

Saying that, he is getting close to the best fulback in the league, and when he calms it a bit and gets the experience then he could easily be the best.

The main issue surrounding the Da Silva twins is the other one. When we signed them Fabio was seen as the better player and only played left back so his bro could play right back. Maybe this is why Rafa has learnt quicker, as Fabio thought he would make it easily?

Hopefully this loan to QPR and watching his bro become a better footballer will motivate him to be the future left back or more likely midfielder.

Anyways, United 15 clear. Happy days.

Now time to sit back and watch Chelsea and City go at it. :D

Hoping for an fully motivated Fabio next year. The left back spot maybe there to take at some point next year. I like Butner but i think Fabio is the beter long term replacement for Evra.
