So Eden Hazard, is this a player we need?

Fckn hope so, we might be able to sneak in and grab Kagawa if you guys manage to get Hazard.

The way i see it happening though is Hazard to City, Kagawa to United, Grant Holt to Liverpool and Bendtner back from loan for Arsenal.

Grant Holt will probably cost more than the other transfers combined considering how stupid Liverpool are when it comes to signing English players.

Who gives a shit about the League Cup? And I was cheering for Chel$ki in the CL Final.

But the League hurt. Particularly since there were a couple of crucial games that we absolutely should have won that ultimately cost us. I can't really whinge about what happened on the final day, because you should never whinge when your destiny is in someone else's hands. But I'll bloody whinge about the loss to Blackburn and the draw with Everton. Blackburn parked the bus and had 3 shots on goal the whole game, all 3 of which went in. From memory De Gea was dropped after that one. Everton we were up by 2 with 7 to go on our own dunghill. Then Rafael f**ks up twice and bang, bang 3 points becomes 1. They were the two games that really bit us hard.

Still, as much as having nothing but the Community f**king Shield to show for it sucks, I'd rather be in our shoes than Liverpool's, or Arsenal's. We're miles ahead of both of them, and looking to further strengthen our team. We'll challenge for the League again. I'd add Chel$ki to that list, because their team as it stands is sub-standard, but they have Abramovich's wallet to fall back on.

Hey Wireman, would you have wanted Hazard as a signing?

He looks like a good player with bags of potential.

However we are not City or Chelsea and we have a budget. 30 million is a lot for a player we don't actually need. The 12 mil on Kagawa is better as it adds a bit of depth but also leaves some cash available for players we need.

So yeah, if we found the money down the back of a sofa and it was an addition to the transfer budget then yeah, it would of been nice. But we don't, so no.

Don't see the need to buy him. He is going to want to be first team, but he is no better than Evra. It would be better to identify a 21-22 year old, who is willing to be back up for Evra with a mind to replace him in the next two or three years.

We have been linked to a guy called Clyne, who is a young fullback, but i don't know anything about him. Powell is a target from Crewe as well. He is some wonder kid or something, again not seen much.

The one Fergie wants is Modric. We have put a bid on for 22 million, and Fergie said through the press we would not pay 32mil for him. I think the target is about 28 mil, and the lack of CL for spurs and an unhappy Modric will try to make this move happen.

He is for sale tho, but it has nothing to do with Harry and nothing to do with Modric or whether he wants Cl footy or whatever, he's under contract and if Levy can get around 35mill plus for him, he can go and I totally agree.

He had a very average season and he's not worth half that imo.

I dont see old foreskin face paying that sort of money however.

We need to buy 2 or 3 fullbacks. We have Evra, Rafael, and Fabio. 2 of those 3 are shit, the other is not as good as he used to be. Compared to our strength at centre back (Vidic, Ferdinand, Evans, Jones, Smalling), it's a glaring issue.

I think Sir Alex is aiming to create a brand new formation: 3 centre backs to do the defending, Evra wide to run forward and function as an extra winger, 4 wingers (2 on each side), one of which will run into the middle every so often to retrieve the ball, and either two strikers or a holding midfielder and a lone striker, depending on who we're playing.
