I doubt it. We don't need another striker. We need attacking midfielders and fullbacks.

Theres a lot of talk about it even to the extent where there is an actual figure of a 15mil transfer fee which arsenal want double of. Thats the talk anyways, Sir Alex losing Moura to PSG at the 11th hour has increased his want of RVP.

I do wonder how you fit a fourth top line striker into a team already containing Rooney, Hernandez, and Welbeck? It'd be a bit like Melbourne with Widdop and Cronk signing Thurston to strengthen their halves.

Berba's almost certainly gone whatever happens. Too good a player to only play a handful of games a year.

Easy. Rooney in the hole and the snake merkin up front.

Hernandez and Welbeck can fight it out for minutes. Neither are even close to Rooney or that other guy.

You have some outrageous attacking talent this season.

Beckham, Keane, Scholes, Giggs... I don't see quite the same quality in midfield we had back then. Hence why I think an investment in this area was more pressing. If Sir Alex now goes out and buys a bloody good central mid, well, I'll happily eat my humble pie.

Martinez would be the cherry on top IMO...

but i think Bayern are gonna wrap that one up... and well done to them... hes a great player... even at the steep price there gonna have to pay for him.
