I was at Bay 22, Row U, Mick Cronin Stand. I want to say that the atmosphere was the best I ever experienced!! Proud to be an eels fan.

Parramatta ran all over the storm tonight. Our go foward was the easiest if seen it in a long time. Storm at thier best would have struggled against us tonight. And thats what caused Slaters temper to boil over. Hayne should have knocked the whinging abusive prick. Picked on someone with depression didnt he?

Has head butt was minor. I mean, it was basically a kiss if anything. What the Strom, and Slater, did after that represented thier culture imho. Grubby pricks. Slaters elbow was 10 times worse. He should get atleast 4-5 weeks.

I always thought Hayne and Slater were good friends too. Even though Slater kept Hayne on the wing for Australia, I thought they atleasted respected each other.

Tim Mannah was brillant. Hindy was excellent, saved us. Only player imo that had a silent game was Tahu.

P.S Well done crowd. You may have been small, but you guys helped Parra win! I wish is was there.

How long has it been that Burt took the ball on the full with defense closing in close to the line in the 45th minute was good to see

I think POORE was great behnd manah..... Reddy played well.
I think the head butt is maybe worth a game...It was basicaly a fairy tap but rules are rules and you cant strike...Id let both play for the spectacle. But Hayne is 90% out thou id say slater is 50/50.His elbow was grubby but would be able to make up some excuse.Hayne cant say a lot in his defense

According to Channel Nine, the Melbourne runners have been involved with some back and forth sledging with the crowd. Good old bay 45...

They sure were.

i was in Bay 45 tonight(awesome night), their water boy and some other bloke were sledging the crowd. It went both ways but one of the melbourne water boys pointed at a parra fan and said he wanted to fight him. Then the crowd just gave it to the melbourne nuffy. The police even told the melbourne idiot off.

Great win, great night.

Yeah, that dick was trying to rile us up out the back. 47 and his "Celery Cap" got under his skin, whilst all the Melbourne fans waiting at the bus saw the humorous side to it.

Great game to watch, I think you guys will click from here on just like last season. Massive amounts of second phase play plus Mortimer and Hayne looked more in control.

hayne has a completely legit defense

it was billy slater .... just mention that at the judiciary and i'm sure everyone will agree the guy is a knob and had a smack in the head coming - they should just let him off with a warning for not doing it harder ffs

We just want some consistancy !!!!! How can the same team that played so well tonight get it so wrong against the Sharks and Saints ???????????

Even though I have one gold eye & one blue eye - a headbutt is a headbutt. If it were done to one of our players, this place would be screaming for justice. I'm just glad that he didn't load up and go the full "pullback & let rip" headbutt.

Slater will get off, because he is the golden child. (I was amazed that his head fit through the tunnel when he went to the sinbin - he is so up himself)

According to some in this forum, those loses are a coordinated trick for future encounters! I somehow doubt that we will meet Cronulla in the finals, so I'm not quite certain how the theory works there.
