The term “ try” comes from in the beginning when you scored you then got a chance to “ try” to kick a goal.
The goal is where the points came from ... not the try.

New rule : every player in the team has to have a turn at kicking conversions. Each team nominates the order of kickers before the imbeciles can blow time on. A list is provided to be displayed on the electronic score board.

I was thinking goal kicking master classes with Luke Covell. He's down here occasionally.

The club needs to identify half a dozen players who are interested in and have the ability to kick goals and force them all through goalkicking training under the tutelage of someone like Halligan or Covell and make them to extras on a regular weekly basis at training.

So who in the team has some experience kicking goals?

Johnson, Townsend, Moylan, Dugan, Gallen - who else?
