Gold Coast Signings

Not a bad signing. Fullback is definitely a position the Titans need to work on & Barba provides them a handy alternative.

Don't think Marmin is the type of player you'll see a lot of but he might get a handful of games and do something that ends up on the highlights reel.

Here we go, a League player actually saying something that isn't a club endorsed cliche and the knives are out.

Rein off the bench at best ... just reading back through this thread ... we still don't have a fullback ten years later plus whoever backed Hayne in should avoid walking under ladders.

Rein will offer good value, hope he does well with Gold Coast.

Watched him against Pennies in reggies this year. It was a bit wet however, threw more decent passes in the game than all his time with the Dragons.

Tino, Fifita, Herbert, McIntyre, Ese’ese and the nucleus of the 2020 squad augers well for us. Although Arrow is a loss, as are James and Hipgrave to some extent, but the emerging talent more than compensates. The media is full of Smith talk but C is unlikely and to be honest I feel McInnes is a better fit for us than the Cheese. Also both Holbrook and Bennett have recognized Sami’s inconsistency but with what we have at the moment I’d be happy with:
1. Brimson, 2. Spry, 3. Kelly, 4. Herbert, 5. Don, 6. Taylor, 7. Fogarty, 8. MoFo, 9. Rein, 10. Jolliffe, 11. Proctor, 12. Fifita, 13. Tino, 14. Peachey, 15. Wallace, 16. Lisone, 17. McIntyre. (Unlucky: Fermor, T. Boyd, Thompson, Stone, Sami and Ese’ese).

Loads of talent in that side...some unproven, but the talent is definitely there. Most excited I've been as a Titans supporter in a long time.

Roster filled for 2023 with the signing of Maumalo, Mikaele and Leeming although mainly as depth with Maumalo playing for Burleigh last weekend yet not featuring in the squad this week. Leeming has been named with the Reserves and is underdone while Mikaele is still on the way. The longterm losses of Jolliffe and Fermor have tested our already skinny roster. Foz has joined Verrills in the Crystal Club while AJ's membership is pending. All pretty tenuous as we wait for some very good emerging juniors to mature, although the imminent return of Jojo Fifita will put some necessary pressure on Sami, Kelly and Schouppe.

Very risky from the Titans signing a coach who has previously not cared about junior development. Let's hope the right people behind the scenes who have done tremendous work are kept on and not sacked as well.

Thats pretty petty of the bronx, it must have REALLY pissed off Keevie, that beating they got.. its pretty low to go and pinch the local lower grade team, especially when there's like 6 at your front door

You do realise the Broncos lost Norths? What's pretty poor is the Titans disrespect of the Bears. But they can try and pinch the Jets from the Roosters or head up to the Cutters with a better offer.

Ok but theres a shit ton of BRL clubs, norths aligning with the dolphins makes sense, they are north of Brisbane, so is redcliffe, broncos still have Wynnum, souths, and everything west basically = ipswich toowoomba to link to if they decide to want to, basicallyat thier doorstep, whats gold coast got... Burleigh, that it.. oh yeah and tweed seagulls
