In regular season games - Draw after 80.
Finals - 10 mins each way, If still tied after 20 mins add an extra 10 minutes until a winner is found.
Just like the old days. I remember those extra time semi finals in the 90s (not the Parra/Canterbury one
), but they were basically going for the try in Extra time instead of a field goal. And if they couldn't crack it towards the finish they would go for a field goal.
Bennett's probably still going back to 2011 when the Broncos eliminated his Dragons in a semi final. I reckon it was about 30 seconds into GP when they kicked a field goal and it was all over red rover.
I do believe playing an extended time in finals football if the teams are locked up after 80 minutes. Maybe another 10 instead of 20, but happy either way.
Also the finish to Sunday's game wasn't exciting to me. Teams kept going for field goals, and it was obviously the best kicker on the field was going to get one. Too predictable. Bring back the draws IMO!!!
