Doesn't he hate us because he once played for us and we didn't give him a 'real go' or something?

He played U/21s for the Bears and got selected in a few FG sides at the end of a year so the Bears could rort the semi qualifying requirement for their reserve grade.

Just checking records, Kent also played 1 first grade game for Parra in 1989.

Can't find anything saying he was ever a Shark

the Fekking Kent is a Bears supporter.
Its always been my theory this is why his anti-Sharks agenda has been driven.
He believes they should be in the NRL and not the Sharks.

I suspect that Gordon has an option in his favour next year. That would be the only reason we'd refuse to release him unless they signed him for next year.

That doesn't make any sense.

If he has an option (player) then if we didn't want him for 2016 and thought he'd exercise his option at a cost the club wasn't happy with, sure, we'd release him if he agreed to it(which he'd have to holding a player option).

If we hold an option (club) then it's up to us as a release has no impact on 2016 if we weren't going to call in the club option.

However, I've not heard of either party holding an option for 2016.

I only suggested that as it was reported more than once we only offered to release him if Parra was willing to offer him a contract for next year. Unless he had an option it makes no sense for us to care about that at all.

I heard PKent raving on MMM on sunday giving it to the club over this business. I see Gordon is named on the wing for the traditional local derby. A game that means so much to our club.

I will be watching 'PK' tonight on NRL 360 to see if he continues his latest campaign against us. I got a feeling though he's looking increasingly stupid and knows it.
