I vote Barba as well. Played pretty well last week. Type of game where he would of built some confidence IMO.

Humphrey still a bit small, has 2-3 errors in him a game, isn't making many metres and is sus in defence for mine. He is falling over the line to score regularly though.

those two 'knock it into touch' plays last game are a bit of a worry too
two drop outs instead of two 7 tackle from the 20 plays

Frenzy.

Yes, very safety first. Tells me he isn't backing himself yet and that's why he isn't a fullback yet.

Hard task masters. Have seen our guys actually try and catch them rather than safety first, drop it and the opposition score (usually in the last 2 minutes).

I know which is better for my blood pressure

Barba also knocked 1 dead he could've let go, although he had a lot less time to spare.

barba did not have the opportunity to catch it on the full and had his back turned to the attacking players

not comparable

the kid is a great prospect but his godlike status on this forum is not yet warranted

he makes big mistakes and is vulnerable in defence

How true is it that Parramatta had to go to the NRL to work out how to fit Gordon in under the salary cap?
Compare their side remembering they let Hayne go with the Cowboys who upgraded Taumalolo
Signed Hannant etc.
Cowboys had a pretty fair squad prior to this year too.
Maybe the Cowboys bought an accountant from Bondi and Parramatta used a local Guildford firm.

Wasn't Ricky culling some dead wood a couple of years ago?
Hindy retired.
They bought Watnough but his 5/8 mate doesn't come till next year.

Funny you asked, they're in all sorts of trouble at the moment - fine coming for salary cap breach: http://www.smh.com.au/rugby-league/...-for-salary-cap-breaches-20150521-gh6dim.html

Nice distraction, this Gordon stuff, from the lack of governance at their own club.

Oh, and cheers to Ricky for his awesome fg up job of Eels.

not just on this forum... f**kin every footy commentator anywhere is wetting their pants over holmes and bird, both of whom have been hit and miss and underwhelming outside of the highlights reel.

love seeing them do some exciting stuff here and there, but gotta be measured with praising these two so early...

And they wanted Gordon and signed Foran:crazy:.Parramatta salary cap works under the Dire Straits song motto"Money for nothing and the kicks(sic) are free."

Who was the CEO at the time ? There have been so many.Starting to make us (Cronulla) look professional;-)

If I was Gordon after learning of this debacle I would be trying to play the best football of my career,to help my future.

Fair enough.

I guess my point was that Holmes isn't the only 1 not thinking that we should try our best to avoid a dropout. He will learn...hopefully it will be coached into him?

Haha.

Yes a certain former fullback, that may end up an Eel, let in a try this year by not knocking the ball dead when he had the chance.

Or the fullback who decided to kick a loose ball towards our own try line from 20 metres out, instead of diving on it. Only for it to hit the upright and the opposition score from it.

So Paul Kent rambles on about how the Sharks should release Gordon to a Parramatta Club well over the salary cap and today fined $500 000. Does he have any regard for the rules of the NRL or does he just likes scoring brownie points bashing up the Sharks. Poor form bringing the code into disrepute.

We are not over for this year or next. It was mainly for 2014.

He definitely loves putting shit on us...it's fun & cool.

He hates us too. Who cares he's a f**kwit.
