My old man works with someone very close to someone high up at WT
O'Hara, Galea (B) and (thank f**k) fitzspastic departures are to be announced very soon
Shame for Galea not getting 10 yrs with Balmain/WT but it's more than made up for with the good news O'Hara and the Big League Covergirl are gone

And expect a late inclusion or 2 on Fri night ....

Someone has also been named for Wests Maggies in PL ...

That`s great news, but can you just relay the message that Halatau needs to go as well ???

And i`ll give you an even better rumour i`ve heard from quite a reliable source. We have had negotiations with both Luke Lewis and Luke Rooney. There is a slight chance that Penrith could be considering releasing the both of them !!!

Who is gonna replace them then? I doesn't sound like we are looking for any new players.

Hope this is right,we would have some cash then,on Lewis and Rooney, unsure I have heard this Rooney thing for a while now,I would offer Joe Williams an incentive based contract.

Jesus Christ Joe Williams ... are we that f**king desperate. He makes John Morris look like Sterling. Brett Seymour on the other hand ...

Brett Seymour is far too slow to be a good quality halfback. Has decent skills, a good kicking game and is a solid defender, but nowhere near dangerous enough to be a good quality halfback. Joe Williams can attack, he is a good ball runner and one of the better ball players running around, has a great kicking game, but is an awefull defender.
Blend them together and you`d create a top quality player, but individually, they both have faults that prevent them from becoming consistently good first graders.

Luke Lewis has been playing pretty good in a poor team....

Williams?
Id rather Fitzy
I know what your saying Ink,but I think Joe playing half with Benji at 5/8th would work well for the club.
Joe has a great kicking game, leads the stats for 40/20s even though he has played only 10 or so games,he is a good organising half,I think Tim would bring the best out of him for not much money.
But if you would rather Fitzy at half instead of Joe,I would be seriously looking at seeing a doctor:lol: ,you know how well he performs in the halves, what is our win ratio 2 from 24 or something like that.

I too would be offering Joe Williams an incentives based contract.
The incentive being that to get paid he must never, ever, under any circumstances, put on a Wests Tigers gurnsey.

Fitz is a reliable-good winger. Offers some utility value as he can replace an injured back or take up a wing spot giving Tuiaki a spell in the forwards.

On the other hand Lawrence is an out & out star anywhere in the backline. How Fitz starts ahead of Lawrence is puzzling.

Yet he does start
Week after week after week after season after season after season
I haven't been this puzzled since mat parish conned numerous coaches into picking him

Whats even more puzzling is why does Lawrence play outside Whatz when he clearly has no idea how to pass the bloody ball, wasted talent right there.

So (when Fitzy finally catches one of Collis' passes) coach Shines can `Fitzy is a great finisher and that is why he is WT's leading tryscorer ... EVER' to justify the fact he picks the spastic every week. You could not make it up. Lawrence outside collis would crucify teams. All fitzy does is crucify tries for us .. and make 1 hit up for 6 metres a la the Gold Coast game
