Hi guys,

I was wondering if someone here knew the score for 1975 Wills Cup (Pre-season comp) Final, where Parramatta picked up their first piece of silverware when they beat Manly at the SCG on March 15, 1975.

I've been through enwspaper archives and not found anything (possibly because it wasn't a Manly win lol)

Parra beat Manly 11-5 in the pre season cup final, then beat them 19-4 in round 5 of the comp before losing 27-8 in round 16 & 22-12 in the minor semi.

It was at the Old Sydney Sports Ground, not Cricket Ground.

Great post! Yeah Manly got their revenge though by knocking us out of the finals race that year. That was also the year Easts dominated the comp. lead by the great, late Artie.

I was there. I couldn't remember the score, though I remember other things about the night.
I was just a young kid.

The Sports Ground was a great place to watch footy. I have memories of a lot of blonde hair belonging to Fairfax and Schubert.
