yeah it looks diff now, but I dont expect gower to stay at penrith for the rest of his career. i think this whole incident and burnt him (sure it was his own doing) and he may stay for this season so he doesnt look as big a dickhead but he wont see out his contract

Well, it seems two ex-Rugby League legends that are not even remotely associated with Penrith; Wendell Sailor and Brad Fittler are of pretty much the same opinion that I am, because they've more or less told Gowie to pull his head in, put it all behind him, stick with Penrith and play football.

So I can't be that disastrously wrong.
Brad Fittler is not even remotely associated with Penrith?

thats 2007

what about 2006?

Ya really reckon Gower would even want to stay on in the NRL? Nah not likely. Wests could probably offord to buy some one but wouldn't they be alot more inclined to breed some of their own? As for Prince if he goes up to the Gold Coast that would be a bloody shame.

Someones had a sensible word in his ear, as shown by the comment, "I'll take my punishment like a man."

No, but his club is. To the basement of the bottom 4 of the NRL

You could probably get good odds for most of the teams to finish in the bottom 4. It's a long season and I'm sure there will be surprises like there always is. I'm still of the opinion that we should be a top eight side, but are too lacking in the centres and props to be a serious title contender this year.

I'm quietly confident that they'll go ok, because they always seem to do better when expectations are low. Any Panther fan would realise that trend.

PENRITH legend Greg Alexander was last night identified as the man who appeased Craig Gower, telling the sacked Panthers captain: "Leave and it will eat you alive."

Alexander, nicknamed "Brandy", telephoned Gower for a heart-to-heart on Wednesday morning when the halfback returned to Sydney from his honeymoon with new wife Amanda...........

No surprises here....Brandy just exudes cool, calm and sensibility, and hes right.......running from a problem will never solve it, just exacerbates it.
