Yeah Gower did milk that penalty but if someone got hit like that and the crowd reacted to it as they did im sure any player in the comp would stay down and milk a penalty aswell.
He got the 3 Dally M points because he played well in both attack and defence. He lead our team to a scrappy victory. He deserved it but so did many other players.

How do you know that the shot by Sattler didn't hurt him?? You tried to accuse gower with the same thing with Morley's hit on him in round 4.

I'll Freely admit that the Tigers got a few doggy calls that went against them in the dying minutes of the game. Mossy did tackle from an offside position and Frank did play at the ball and it should have been ruled a knock on, but a few dodgy calls went against us as well... That 2nd last try the Tiges were awarded from "Ref's call" by the video ref shouldn't have been awarded, the ball impacted on the ground before the line! Translation: Tigers down by 6 points & Penrith winning fair and square. So even if those last two infringements of the game were acted upon, in the end it wouldn't have mattered.

This thread was started off as "Panther Bashing" by Easts fans. The originator of the thread hates Penrith with a passion and naturally other Roosters supporters see a chance to lay into Penrith and jump at the chance. How do you know Gowie hadn't been hurt for real Melon? Have you ever played Rugby League professionally?

Quite frankly if the Roosters won a close game under "supposed" controversial circumstances against any other team other than my own, as much as I dislike the Roosters and much of their fanbase (Especially you Melon!) I couldn't give a rat's arse... I'd have better things to do than start up a stupid thread like this. Like worrying about how my side will do against a fired-up Raiders side hungry for a win.

Gwer saw an opertunity to promote his team up feild after a late hit from sattler even if it wasnt high it was dead set late and deserved a penalty he was smart enough to stay down to get his side the penalty, and if the stupid ref fell for it good job to him i say... And isnts it funny to see all the rooster supporters in her jumping up and down about the ref and players taking dives :-({|= you think they would be the last people in here saying stuff like that.... get over it and stop whinging =; the only supporters that should complain are the tigers supporters....

u cant just look at the positives... since he handles the ball so much, he would have more chances at positives than say a fullback.. it wouldnt be fair.

it should be overall performance.. if he hands out that many penalties or missed tackles, they're all bad factors in my opinion and should not be mom for that. - when ppl say someone had a sh!t game, its cos of those factors... also kicking game would be one.

I would have to agree that in this game, prince or skandalis shoulda got mom. giving him the mom would say to everyone that milking penalites is ignored.

Maybe it was a little late... but the coward act from gower is what we are on about. It would not of been called a penalty if he got up and resumed play. But he just layed there, then the video ref had to get involved because it was "Serious". Penrith got the penalty. Jumped straight to his feet, kicked for touch perfectly and set up a try in the same set. Gower you f**king pussy! :evil:

Sattlers shot was late but it wasnt as high or as bad as it looked. Still deserved a penalty so no-one should be saying Gower milked it because the Panthers would have got a penalty if he had of got up or stayed on the ground anyway. Any of the 2 touchies or the ref would have seen it.

I just find it laughable that people can come in here and criticise him for milking it. I bet you if I watched every minute of every game this weekend I could find one player from each team who milked or at the very least attempted to milk a penalty. And from week to week in each team its usually the same players attempting the same thing.
