They're a good team. Undoubtedly.

But I think we can more than match them in terms of talent - the times we've met this season show that.

The thing they have that we don't is the ability to play for 80 minutes and grind out a victory. We showed but on two or three occassions that we can grind out an ugly win.

Once we develop that ability, dare I say it - the title is ours to lose.

Mate i hope so, but i wouldnt hold my breathe waiting for next year being a Parra fan if you know what i mean. We certainly have something to build on for next year though.

Seeing how happy the Storm boys were and the Storm fans tonight, i'd just love to see those scenes with the blue and gold army.

I'm feeling irrationally jealous - I did not expect this year to go as well as it did, but I am still jealous.

But I look at the side we have now and, having had a great season under our belts, I reckon our side will be stronger than this year next year:

* Joe Galuvao, whilst out of form for a few seasons, is a class player who will be looking to resurrect his career;

* Junior Paulo, coming off the back of a Premier League championship and having tastes First Grade, will be looking to establish himself as a regular star;

* Matt Keating, in my opinion, will be a vital part of our 2008 campaign - the kid is all class and I have a feeling he'll be the one to force Pig to move permanently into the back row;

* Guys like Uaisele, Tautai, Hauraki and perhaps even Kris Keating will definitely figure somehwere in Frist Grade calculations.

Adding all this up, all we need is to fix our concentration problem and we're an immediate threat. And I actually reckon we'll start the season off better next year than we did this season - Finchy and Timmy will have played plenty together by then to have established some form of a partnership and we'll be better for it.

I really hope we can win a premiership with Tim Smith at halfback but it probably isnt likely. Do i have the answer for a better replacement?? No to be honest.

He's got the talent. He just needs the temperament.
