Ive heard a few songs of his on radio and I'm not a fan. Then again I'm not a fan of Keith Urban either and thought his performance was good so this year's one might be ok.

Since the announcement I'm now expecting so many "Oh but the AFL do it better".

I don't think the AFL entertainment has been much better or any better recently but one thing the NRL does different is allow fans to be up close to the headline act which I don't mind.

I don't think anyone thinks the AFL puts on better acts.

I'll break it down for you
He is a white American with a new album out very soon.
He is a sort of rapper .
He usually has some other person singing with him
It called " featuring ".
He will come here ...he'll wonder what the f**k his management has got him into...
He'll Talk/rap along to some prerecorded music ...then he'll be given a jersey ( which he'll give away) have his photo taken in it ...and be gone before the games over.
...but he will be trendy in the process,
because that's the most important thing.

If my choice of Delta pole dancing in the middle, with billy idol doing circlework around her in a hovercraft comes to fruition, macklemore would be a poor choice for the soundtrack.
