I suggested a "now and then of Aussie music "
Get a few new bands and then few older bands who are currently still playing.
YAI and the Oils are.
A song or two each.

Different genres as well
Not just rock n roll.
Maybe a combo finish.

Just keep it Australian and NZ ( no stinking poms of course ) though.

It infuriates me that the NRL think we need to see a seppo act

I hear you, however apart from the few dinosaur bands, there is not many aussie acts worthy of the excitement of a grand final. Personally, apart from delta, I'd love to see slipknot. That would fire everyone up!!

IMO the GF entertainment isn't about the masses....the masses are going to watch no matter who is playing. The GF entertainment is about the kids, mums and WAGS.

My misses watches the super bowl every year purely for the half time show.
