If they are going to waste their money in bringing out someone from that part of the world at least bring out someone who is relevant to today, like Wet Leg.

Better still, just get Victor the Inflictors favourite band, The Chats. Personally I’d prefer Amyl and the Sniffers, that’d rub Melbournes nose right in it by getting one of their own. I reckon PVL would be into it.

I thought Parkway Drive were only for Fox League's finals ads?

Anyway, there are a bunch of Aussie rock acts touring at this time, so maybe one of:
Midnight Oil, Thirsty Merc, Screaming Jets, Hoodoo Gurus.

In terms of international acts:
Billie Eilish will also be in the county late September, and Bruno Mars mid-October. But I doubt the timing works for either.

Parkway Drive would be a much better choice IMO.

Parkway Drive aren’t too bad. Australian hard rock act. They’ll get somebody else in order to appeal to kids/families

I'm genuinely excited to hear what Jessica Mauboy and the Rogue Traders will sing this time round.
