How are you fatigued after 5 mins?? Especially when you only plan is chasing the collision. Not a good plan
No we all saw Jakey run on and he scored a great try!!!
I don't do NRL on facebook and ^^^ this seems to justify me not looking for it.should see Facebook they were claiming ja was the reason we scored and said if only he came on earlier.
FFS.Because FFS!!
F**ken hell. Martin Lang agrees with me. Maybe @hineyrulz is right?
Agreed. It was a factor but shouldn’t be used as an excuse. Both teams like to belt their opposition into submission. Unfortunately for us they done it much better. I think playing in nq didn’t help our cause.
Analed by our own game planBoth teams like to belt their opposition into submission. Unfortunately for us they done it much better. I think playing in nq didn’t help our cause.
Plus they skipped the last round, played us, skipped the next round, played Souths then usBoth teams like to belt their opposition into submission. Unfortunately for us they done it much better. I think playing in nq didn’t help our cause.
Gould tipped us to beat the Cowboys and then predicted Penrith would score at least four tries against us while we would score only one or two. He must’ve known we wouldn’t be prepared for it. The bookies knew it too by offering $3 for us to win. There are two narratives here in the post game wash up.
One is that the Pennys were on another level, unbeatable and would have won by 3 or 4 tries vs any team.
Another is that it was an opportunity lost due to poor preparation, lack of mental strength and poor game plan and/or execution of game plan and somehow we should have overcome their superior everything.
Exactly. Our attack was up against the best defence in the comp while theirs was up against a defence that was ordinary all year.In my view both teams only played as well as their opponent let them.
Hot?Love how the media are only just realising the Smugs are the Allicent Hightowers of the NRL
So we did turn up ready to play and then changed our minds? The first 2 sets in the game is all we turned up for in a Grand Final and needed to do everything that what was needed. After that, we never did what was needed to win that game.
Which makes the coaches obsession to use 15/6 players down the home stretch all the more ridiculous.Nine news said last night Gutho played with a broken hand for the whole finals series.
Needed surgery but put it off until after the finals.
Moses missed footy for a broken finger come back early.
Junior didn't get a break post origin.
Dylan had back spasms ahead of the cowboys game.
RCG had ice on his hamstring last week at training.
I suspect we were most busted then what was made out and Penrith were just fresh as a daisy getting 2 weeks off in the space of 5 weeks.
Not an excuse btw just reality.
Niukore is faster. In hindsight maybe we should of started Brown for his leg speed.
Line speed needs more than one merkin for that exact reason. How many times did Brown charge up in D and come up empty handed ? Pennys footwork at the line rendered him ineffective.
I said Allicent, not Laena ValeryonHot?
He should’ve tried it in 2010 as well. They Interviewed someone from the 2009 gf team and he said that in the beginning of the year, DA tried to implement a style/strategy that successfully worked in England for him.
However, he realised the players werent suited for that style and scrapped it and introduced offloading and from that point onwards, it shot away
