I told you all to back Easts to win the comp before the season kicked off. They had a slow start. Losing Tupou early in the season messed up their backline, with a Reece Robinson, being a liability and then they moved Manu to the wing and had Aubusson at centre. When Tupou returned and Manu went back to centre, Easts then started to put it together. As long as Cronk is fit to play next year. Easts look the standouts to win next year's comp.

If we can manage to sign Bennett and he brings Pangai and Oates with him and add Joey Leilua and we will be the other standouts.

Glad the storm lost tonight.
The roosters are a plastic club anyhow with hardly any loyal ssupporters.
They only show up for the good times where is we do no matter what.
Melb proved again they are grubs with Billy trying to dive and Munster showing the grubbiness legacy will continue.

No matter what we think about the Roosters, their coach did a good job tonight. I hope our Board of Directors took notice.

Roosters deserved to win it and Robinson did a great job. Heaps of admiration for Cronk's toughness but it was the worst GF I can remember. No time at all for Mitchell. Not many players I don't like but he's one of them. Grub of the first order.

I didn't watch the game as I stated on another thread.

Instead took advantage of quality time with the bride, being home alone after the offspring went out. Now that was 2 hours worth of my life that wasn't a waste.

Soooo....Well done Rorters. Yep we all know that the 2018 comp was bought, but I am envious of your club and in particular your board. They want something and they make it happen.

Back at the Old Boys Jurassic club at Kogarah and the Illawarra, there is talks of extending a 4.5 year old impotent coaching staff for a further 2-3 year term.

What was our TPA balance? 28K or something thereabouts? Compared to the hundreds of thousands for Rorters, Broncos and Melbourne.

Sigh!!!!! We need a complete clean out and a modern day culture change or else we basically die as a club in my opinion.

Yes, yes, f**k the cap cheats and all, but I can't deny I was happy to see Cronk get that win. Very few players are so likeable to me that they cancel out my dislike of the Roosters but he's done it.
