Trent Robinson completely out coached Bellamy and was so good to see the Roosters rub dirt into the noses of Smith & Slater.....that was the highlight of 2018 GF!! A great result and congratulations to the Roosters on being worthy winners.

Further to this observation, the first 15 minutes tonight was the most dominant display I’ve seen by a side in the first half since the Manly/Melbourne 2008 grand final,

The Chooks were ruthless.

Well people reckon Bennett's coming..I guess they are entitled to their opinion...some people used to think the world is flat...anyway you get the idea...Don't let me confuse you with factual information.

Factual info, huh? Do you have a credible source for such a statement or (as I suspect) are you relying on empirical evidence?

Storm five-eighth Cameron Munster was sin-binned twice and bombed a certain try in the grand final

CAMERON Munster made history for all the wrong reasons on Sunday night when he became the first player in NRL history to be sin-binned twice in a grand final.

The 24-year-old is the first player since Terry Lamb in 1995 to cop the double shame.

The Storm five-eighth was considered a hot favourite to claim the Clive Churchill Medal in pre-game predictions, but had one of the toughest nights of his career as he was sin-binned twice and butchered a certain try as the Roosters ran away with a 21-6 win.

Munster butchers certain try

0:22
Trailing 18-0 midway through the second half, Storm skipper Cameron Smith produced some magic to get on the outside of the Roosters defence to give Munster a three on one overlap to work with in the 59th minute.

Munster kicks Manu in head

In Roosters territory and within scoring distance of the line, Munster had a brain snap and chose not to pass the ball wider, knocking on a second later after contact with Roosters centre Joseph Manu.

Earlier, he was sin-binned in the first half for a professional foul, and again with a few minutes left on the clock after kicking Manu in the head.

Cameron Munster was part of the reason we lost the origin, and now the reason @storm lost the premiership. Bye. #NRLGF #NRLRoostersStorm

Whatever the opposite of the Clive Churchill is, Cameron Munster has won it this evening. In fact he was that "good" they should coin the medal after him. #NRLGF

It was a very un-Storm like performance. (AAP Image/Craig Golding)Source: AAP
THERE are no two ways about it, the Storm struggled across the park.

Cameron Munster was sent to the sin-bin not once, but twice.

Cameron Smith didn’t have his usual influence, and Billy Slater was comfortably contained.

Even their forwards were uncharacteristically dominated in the middle third.

PLAYER RATINGS: CHOOK RATED 10/10 AFTER GRAND FINAL MASTERCLASS

Read on for the full player ratings for the Melbourne Storm.

STORM

1. Billy Slater 5

In the end it wasn’t necessary as Blake Ferguson’s foot was on the touch line when he batted the kick back, but what a try-saver it was on Siosiua Taukeiaho. Struggled to find cohesion out the back, running behind players a couple of times, failing to link up with his outside men.

Cronk reacts to GF victory

2. Suliasi Vunivalu 4

Too far infield and barely got a touch on Daniel Tupou as he scored in the corner. Defused high kicks expertly all night.

3. Will Chambers 4

Try-saver on Boyd Cordner in the opening two minutes. Then Latrell Mitchell beat him badly by stepping inside and shrugging him off. Mitchell got him again dragging him across the sideline later in the second half, and then he gave away a relieving penalty for a clumsy high shot.

4. Curtis Scott 6.5

Joseph Manu palmed him off effortlessly in the opening exchanges. But did look dangerous when he received early ball, and made an incredible 141 metres from 18 charges.

5. Josh Addo-Carr 5.5

Manhandled by the Roosters whenever he took a run. Except in broken play when Cameron Munster threw it to him with space and he beat a couple of tackles. Then the play of the game when he took an intercept off Luke Keary and ran 90 metres to close the gap to 12.

6. Cameron Munster 3.5

Sin-binned for a professional foul, holding down Jake Friend after his break. Then brilliant try-saver on Blake Ferguson early in the second half. Bombed what would have been a crucial try when he threw a dummy and had the ball knocked out with a huge overlap outside him. Then when they had momentum after Addo-Carr’s try, he came up with a costly error. Then unbelievably, he was sin-binned again for kicking out after making a tackle.

'Beers, beers & more beers!'

1:03
7. Brodie Croft 5

Took on the line early with a big right foot step to keep the defence in two minds. Then well weighted grubber in the first half to force repeat set. Tackled well

8. Jesse Bromwich 5

Only three hit-ups from their key big-man in the opening 40. Picks dhis workrate up in the second half but by that stage the Storm were way behind.

9. Cameron Smith 5

Gave away a penalty late in the tackle count that allowed the Chooks to use the overlap (with Munster still in the bin) to score again on the cusp of half-time. Zero runs from dummy-half but made close to 50 tackles as usual.

10. Tim Glasby 3

Like his front-row partner, struggled to impose himself on the game. Three hit-ups for 18 metres.

11. Felise Kaufusi 5

Just when the pressure valve was released, Felise Kaufusi dropped the pill cold to give his side no chance of getting an early foothold. Didn’t even try to tackle a Roosters player, who streaked clear in the second half. But did end up making more than 40 tackles.

12. Joe Stimson 5.5

Didn’t see any ball, making just three runs in the first half. Did pretty well in defence, especially when it got tough when his five-eighth was sent to the bin.

13. Dale Finucane 7

Worked tirelessly in both attack and defence. His one big blemish was a dropped a ball under no pressure with his team in good field position early in the second half.

Munster kicks Manu in head

INTERCHANGE

14. Kenny Bromwich 6

Poked his head through with most of his runs.

15. Christian Welch 3.5

The Roosters seemed to have all the ball when he got on, one bad miss but generally made his tackles.

16. Brandon Smith 6.5

Ran hard and was constantly asking for work, tried to get his team going.

17. Nelson Asofa-Solomona 6.5

Inspirational when he came on. Gave the Storm the go-forward they didn’t have early. Almost scored a barnstorming try. But then made unnecessary contact with Cooper Cronk, which resulted in Cameron Munster’s four-pointer being disallowed.

More factual than your hunches...and it has already been discussed here numerous times... ..have a good evening.

You mean the stuff contained within the forum is Gospel and its veracity is unquestionable?

Wow.

I’ll have to start paying more attention.

Good night to you too.

Geeze I envy the Roosters professionalism ! They set out to win themselves a comp , slowly built their season towards achieving that goal and had that desire to win tonight Grand Final . Everything clicked for the team , their defense rugged and uncompromising and the attack first class .

Good luck to the players as they have done what only a few other clubs have managed to do in recent seasons and that is to rub Melbourne’s nose into the turf . Bad sportsmanship awards to the trio of Smith , Munster and of course we cannot leave out Billy ‘ boots and all ‘ Slater .

Well people reckon Bennett's coming..I guess they are entitled to their opinion...some people used to think the world is flat...anyway you get the idea...Don't let me confuse you with factual information.
Would you believe that there are quite a few who now believe that the earth is flat? lol I don't believe it. I believe that it is a conspiracy conspiracy theory or psy opp. If you go on Youtube, there are many, many videos from people sprouting the Flat Earth theory. There are even numerous ones from people claiming to have worked for NASA claiming the earth if flat. There are others from pilots? I think it is a psy opp, so that if they can say to someone "You probably believe the earth is flat too"? and when they reply "Yes", they lose any credibility that they may have had.

Most of you probably have never heard of Admiral Richard Bird. There is some very interesting stuff regarding him. There was one story, I think it is in his diary, where he was flying a plane at the North pole. He claims to have gone into the inner earth, where his plane was remote controlled hi jacked and he met with people of the inner earth. This pertains to the hollow earth theory. lol Bird was a 33 degree Freemason too. After the second world war. Bird was selected to lead operation High Jump. This involved the US Navy and other countries such as Australia were involved, in sending an expedition to the Antarctica. They sent an craft carrier, 12 war ships, over 20 planes and helicopters and over 4000 thousand men. It was supposed to be a five mouth scientific project. Now this is where it gets interesting. Many believe that it was really about finding Nazi bases down in the South pole. Bird himself did say the purpose of the operation are primarily of a military nature. After about 2 months the project was abruptly canceled. There were reports that they encountered some kind of flying objects, possibly Nazi ones and they lost a torpedo destroyer, numerous planes and dozens of soldiers and officers were killed. On the way back, Bird docked in Chili and he spoke to media there. He said In the case of a new war, "The US would be attacked by fighters who were able to fly from one pole to the other with incredible speed"

There are also many stories that Hitler didn't really die after the war and that he went to live in Argentina. Last year Trump released some formerly classified files called the JFK files, that said the FBI's intel was that Hitler was alive in Argentina. But for some reason, this wasn't news worthy for the mainstream media?

Here is a story of Admiral Bird, and other stuff that I have mentioned in this post.

He didn't exactly get the send off that JT did. If we're all honest we would have loved Slater to be our FB. As for Munster.. not much going on upstairs Xx
