I might be jumping the gun here but does anyone know when Grand final tickets go on sale?

You are not jumping the gun, Macca and the Major are already trying to organise the Grand Final. As to when the tickets will be on sale, i dont know, but the following thread may provide u with some additional info.

A few weeks yet, prob sometime early August for season ticket holders, then General public sales will follow a few days later. I'm sure there will be more info in the other thread as soon as anything is announced.

Interestingly, this year with the increased amount of season ticket holders across the NRL, I'd be surprised if any tickets make it onto the open market in the initial round of sales.

Nah it's all good, I have managed to secure plenty of seats together in the past and we will do it again this time, just need the boys to keep up their end of the bargain.

Question: If we bought out a whole bay, or even two, would we have to be restricted to one seat like the NRL wants, or are we free to move around (at say half time) to talk with other* people?

*Other than the people we are sitting^ next to.

You won't buy out close to half of one bay. Each bay has 2 sections at Anz and each are between 400 and 1200 seats.

60 tickets is like only 5 rows half way across.

Your ticket is reserved and you need to go to your seat, and at the GF you need to sit not stand lol. Nothing stopping you moving around before game or at half time.

for the record, to get 60 seats, you need 15 season tickets, 15 people to attend ticketek, and approx $2400 (that's based on 4 tickets per card).

If we can get 30 (as responded on this thread) we are close to getting 120 seats, and as you can see that's f**k all in a bay of 400 or a stadium of 80000 but better then nothing.

Thanks Macca, i didnt think the bays were that big. Do u know if we are allowed banners? Or is that a no-go, view obstructing....thing?

the standard signs will be alright, 1m high or so but no flags or anything bigger then 1.2m - Don't forget, where there is a will there is a way, just need to be creative.

im not sure how big mine is but i think its pretty close to 1.2. :x Might have to make another smaller one.
Thanks again. Looking at the figures on the other thread, there is already 42 people putting their hands up, and plenty more who arent members but want to go. I have even been speaking to people out of the forum (members) who are interested, and they said they would speak to Ray. If its 4 tickets per pass, i think we could half fill a bay at least. And dont forget the September supporters.

They also don't release all tickets - so it will appear as sold out in certain sections or half of certain sections -it's not an easy task getting heaps, but I'm up for the challenge

Personally, I don't have trouble finding Saints supporters who want tickets when we make a GF, but this won't be an outlet for those people to bug me or Ray or anyone else for tickets.

Your either in or out for this from the beginning, and if you don't want to go because we don't make it, then I have no problems getting rid of the tickets in one lot - like I did in 06.

No one will lose money, but there will not be spare tickets for those not interested in getting in now.

There's plenty of ways to be creative on days like this..

Wripped paper in pillow cases is a beauty. Sometimes you've been wripping all week and the security takes it off you. Heartbreaking.

There's plenty of other methods as well..

Does anyone know for sure whether its 2 or 4 tickets per single membership?

I'm just finalising numbers myself. Said 4 minimum but could potentially be more.
