20 premierships, blah, blah, blah.
they havent won one for exactly 40 years. a fan would have to be at least 50 years old to truly say they witnessed and appreciated a South Sydney premiership.
They would have to be in their mid-30s to say they witnessed and appreciated a win in any post season game.
Most clubs moved onto the business side of rugby league long before Souths ever did, who instead had some bloke run it like it was his own sentimental hobby horse. They seem to have got their act together now, and were heading the right way with assembling a decent playing roster too, until Crowe jizzed his pants when Inglis came onto the market and spent all that extra money on an unimportant position when they already had a cheaper one who fit the team appropriately. They lost the club's most important player in the most important role and it has set the team back several years.
