There are few things I love more than a well compiled soundtrack. Anyone have any favourites?

Kill Bill vol.1, Once Upon a Time in Mexico and Donnie Darko would probably rank up there as my favourites.

Theres four for me that stand out

1. Lost Highway
2. Empire Records (well you'd expect a movie set in a record store to have a good soundtrack)
and
3. Jackie Brown
4. Natural Born Killers

Nothing wrong with instrumentals. Who needs a singer to make a good song?

Mortal Kombat

Queen of the damned - soundtrack produced by jon davis from korn so its nice and heavy for my taste

Resident Evil - Featuring bands such as slipknot and fear factory

The Matrix - Well RATM sing the main theme so i gotta like it

I was going to mention Donnie Darko, but it was said in the OP.

Does anyone know if there is a soundtrack released for this movie apart from the one that is only orchestral music? That's all I can find.

Nope that's it. They didn't have the budget to release a non instrumental soundtrack.

Scorsese has good track record when it comes to soundtracks. Goodfellas and Casino are two of my faves. Followed by Tarantino - Pulp Fiction, Jackie Brown, Kill Bill. And Guy Ritchie - Lock Stock and Snatch. Big Night is another good one, full of old Louis Prima stuff and other great Mediterranean Descendant shiznit.
Then there are the musicals Grease, Rocky Horror, Saturday Night Fever, Chicago.
