Who's that bloke who played for Souths and was unfortunate to only get one chance to showcase his skills for the Blues... he was so fast that his name escapes me just now.

Nathan Merritt best position was fullback. He only played winger because Greg Inglis in his prime was too good there. I remember in a game when Inglis got injured, Merritt was moved to fullback against the Tigers and he tore them apart.

Nah, Merritt was shit, it was Ziggy Niszczot I was thinking of.. he actually played 2 origins and bagged 2 tries... Merritt did play just the 1, thankfully, and shat the bed.

Merrit wasn't shit. He was a good club man, he just wasn't in the realms of state of origin ability.

Lote Tuqiri it's a shame that his best years were wasted in union.

Michael O'Connor would probably would have to be up there, but I admit that I only saw him at the end of his career with Manly and was too young to see him from his years at St George.

He was the best of the league to union converts in the early 2000's. Did some great things for the Wallabies and Waratahs.

Yeah he was a good enough club winger but he wasn't a rep players arsehole.

Not greatest of all time obviously but the two wingers I've enjoyed watching the most for my team are Taniela Tuiaki & Tuqiri (2010 only). Tuiaki was great to watch an absolute beats who was unstoppable close to the line. Was absolutely devastating when he did his ankle in 2009 & never recovered. Tuqiri was fantastic for us in 2010, as others have said it's a shame his most dominant years were wasted in Yawnion.

No particular order but my favourites over the years have been

Wendell Sailor
Michael Hancock
Ricky Walford
ET
Matty Sing
Semi
Manu Vatuvai
Hazem El Masri

The greatest wingmen of all time however were Sam Thaiday and Darius Boyd...

Without doubt the greatest winger of all time, whether you saw him play or not . . . Billy Boston
