As you are a Browns fan. I think you should jump on the Bulldogs bandwagon now. Your used to failure. Dogs need a miracle to get good. But they will do that over the next couple of years. Then at least you can say you hitched your wagon to a down and out club.

They are already a team that I look to watch! As Unforgiven mentioned the synergy between his Tigers and Bengals, I can see some with the Browns and Dogs. Plus I'm a big fan of dogs. My 4 dogs are pretty much my life. I actually have also been lurking their forum, The Kennel for a couple of weeks now. IS there really any chance of them signing Latrell? Or is that just smoke and mirrors?

Bengals! I'm a Browns supporter since 1986. Eagles too. It's been brutal but things are looking up.

I wouldn't say that I've "chosen" a team to support just yet. I tend to start with the team that won it the year I was born and follow that team (Bunnies). But I have to say that over the last 3-4 weeks after having seen everyone play, I really like the way the Raiders play. That match against the Tigers is what really hooked me. So I lean toward them right now. I like the way the Storm play too but I really didn't want to "choose" the front runner.

Haha thought I was the only Brown's fan on here:)

lol no, After the Browns shafted Paul Brown they deserved it. Even though those Browns are now the Ravens the new Browns can suffer the consequences too!
To give the Ravens their due, at least they insisted that the name, colours and historical records for the Browns remained with Cleveland. After what the colts did, anything else would be unacceptable.

I don't know about insisted, that was part of the settlement with Cleveland that the NFL brokered after Cleveland launched legal action. Art Modell just took everything else, he was also the guy that screwed over Paul Brown!

They may have accepted the history and championships!

I can't help think what might have been had we not moved. Especially after the successful 1995 season under Belichick. What happens if we don't move to Baltimore and keep Belichick? We'll never know.

The 1995 Cleveland Browns season was the team's 50th season overall and 46th in the National Football League. After finishing 11–5 in 1994 under head coach Bill Belichick and winning a playoff game for the first time since 1989, the Browns were favored by many to reach Cleveland's first ever Super Bowl.

Additionally, this matchup is more bitter for Cleveland than other rivalries due to the fact that many of the draft picks from 1996 to 1998 were on the roster for the Ravens team that won Super Bowl XXXV in 2000. Had the Browns stayed in Cleveland, these teams (drafted by general manager and former Browns tight end Ozzie Newsome) might have given the Browns the title after a 36-year drought.[3] This bitterness was compounded when the Ravens won their second Super Bowl in 2012

I've said for a couple of years- now that Belichick has pretty much done everything that he could in New England, he return to Cleveland and try and take them to the Superbowl.

And he wanted money from Baltimore to build a stadium, hence my doubts.
Baltimore were as desperate as for a team as Art was for a stadium, the Redskins were already making it difficult in their push to keep Baltimore without a team to enable them to claim it for themselves. Baltimore had already swung and missed with an expansion team, the Rams and the Buccaneers. They needed the Browns bug to work as much as Modell did.

I have a few questions about some things:

Why do the referees call a knock on when a player fumbles the ball backwards or it clearly bounces backwards? Is it just the simple fact that the refs punish the error?

Why do some teams play at neutral stadiums? And do they play the same amount of matches home and away? Is there anything that I need to know about the schedule?

What the hell is going on with bye points? And how are the byes scheduled?

Why even scrum?
