Inglis is embarrassing to listen to. He really does sound as though he's a genius. At least Cordner can string together more than 2 syllables.

Inglis isnt a Captains ball bag and he proved that at his press conference after going DUI. The Green and Gold values should have dictated immediately stepping down from the Captainancy.

Meninga's insistence that the door hasnt been closed on a Inglis Captainancy also shows poor leadership and fails to uphold the principles that should govern any successful culture.

Ya had ya chance Gregy boy and ya blew it. Tough.

cordner probably doesn't sound as bad, but he's stil bad.

interestingly, if you only read what GI said in his press conference, it comes across as thoughtful and articulate.

If the NRL don't pander the ARU would happily take him.

That's the problem. They can't go hard on the upper echelon players.

His manager would make that well known to the NRL and they would fold to his demands.

Throw in Meninga's jobs for the boys attitude and he's all good.

If they want to threaten to leave in order for the NRL to be lenient on them, then they can f**k off and play that shitty sport.
The NRL has lost big name players before. It has survived. It doesn't need to bend to the will of these muppets.

ARU couldn't afford him anyway, which is lucky for them cause he's not worth what they'd pay.

Absolutely.
Ill-disciplined NRL players getting poached by rugby would say a whole lot more about ARU standards than rugby league's.

ARU?

Did you just time travel from 2003?

Rugby Union is broke and the game is dying in Australia.

Your statement is laughably out of touch

You don't think GI would help them?

He's about 10 levels better than anyone in their current squad.

A mil or so a year is a good investment.

They don't have that sort of cash.

There will not be one top level League player go to Australian Rugby Union for at least a decade.

Koriobete being chucked a wallabies jersey before he even got to wear his club jersey shows a lot towards their attitude to any nrl players. No doubt an awesome winger like marika would have gotten their in his own accord anyway but at least let them play the first round first

Well field goals are worth 3 points so that will help GI.
Given the differences in the game he would be terrible especially as he isn't that good at RL now days anyway

He could probably help add a bit of weight to the scrum
