Maccas, or whoever it is down in Canberra isn't much better.

When I was down there for the Penrith game, I'm pretty sure he failed to acknowledge a Raiders try... that's bread and butter stuff surely.

Ahhh Robbo, the former local 10 news anchor. One of his efforts earlier in the season particularly made me cringe while announcing the Raiders team:

"Ben Cross.. he's very cross"

I remember fondly when the Tigers had Russell Barwick. Now we have some complete dick. The only thing he could do to be entertaining would be to let pre teens hit him with a 3 wood. Each home game there is a new player. The one who causes the most serios injuries wins. Bonus points for a skull caving in

The Penrith bloke is disgracefully bad

Why? Because he's biased towards Penrith?

Show me a ground announcer that isn't biased towards his own home team!

Scotty McRae is the best in the business in my opinion!

do they still play that lame "panther growl" at penrith stadium? man that is annoying

Yep! I don't find it annoying at all! It makes me swell with pride, but then again I guess I am a Penrith Supporter! ;-)

I dont mind the growl at Penrith but Scotty McRae is close to the biggest knob ever to hold a microphone. He spends half the time perving at himself up on the big screen and pulling stupid faces. Everytime im at a Penrith game i always pray for him to get run over by the 'Panther car' :)
The guy at Manly takes the cake though. Constant commentary throughout the game and stupid comments, everytime im there im waiting for him to whisper 'Beaver i want to boof you'

I like Scotty McRae, I think he makes some of the cheerleaders uncomfortable though sometimes :D

I liked James Sherry when he was at Melbourne, he was amazing

Yeh he has been our best by far, the 100000's of others who have done it since James have been pretty awful and dull. Why wouldnt Storm want James to do it this season?

Steaming_Stormer - that "come on lets hear it for the Storm" or whatever crap pisses me off each time he says it. Does he think we're dumb or something

I think the dogs one is Steve Allen, I remember him at the GF and the double header in 03, he's good but annoying sometimes.

Also the guy at Telstra that does the Tigers games, I think Ive heard on radio before.

Scott McRae is a sleeze with lame pick-up lines.

With a ground announcer like him it's no one why Panthers fans are so quiet. That and they haven't had much to cheer about this year ;-)

The guy from the Big Arvo does souths games. He doesn't pronounce names very well and I seriously think he has no idea about rugby league.

Broncos announcer isn't bad, dosn't say anything during the game only before and does an interview after it.

He kinda does an annoying job of getting the crowd to cheer, like first of its always meh, then its a bit better but he dosn't really get the fans too excited except for last week, where he actually got me feeling pumped up for the Sharks match.

Too bad the Origin people couldn't do the same thing, it was a bit hard after Thirsty Mac, however they had a reason to be on, to put the QLDer fans to sleep. ;)
