A nothing hit, penalty sufficient, play on.
GO

 Nathan Friend was doing what every good hooker in the NRL does. If you are blaming him, look at any other good number 9 mate.
Seriously though, the biggest crime is you saying Prince and Friend's dives are worse than Anasta's and Carney's.
Definitely agree, there is no way it should be charged.
Prince has a point, Soward is a far bigger diver than Prince. You might not realize it but Prince was actually hit by a swinging arm. I love both players, but both of them do dive.
To the original poster, go away troll......
If Carney gets done for this it will be the biggest cop-out in Rugby League judiciary history......
On the subject of diving, it happens, get over it. Every player does it nowadays, all for the sole purpose of helping their team. I don't hold anything against Prince, Friend, Anasta or Carney for what they did tonight. They are all great players and good blokes.
The roosters fans are telling us all how invincible they are and that come hell or highwater they will win the premiership, so why get upset if Carney does get wiped out of the GF, they will win it without him anyway right ?
While I don't think Carney deserves to be suspended for the high shot ( penalty sufficient) I think he and Anasta sullied the game with their diving.
And I'm not having a go at the Roosters here...it's a trend that's creeping into just about every club, including my own.
The refusal to dive or feign injury used to be one of the high water marks that distinguished our game for the better from all the other codes --- not any more.
Bad luck Carney you Alcoholic Grub.
Enjoy watching the Final from the Stands!!
This is something that I strongly disagree on. Diving is a form of cheating, needs to be stamped out of the game, every time someone dives it attacks the credibility of the toughness of the sport, it is an insult to players that play the game tough but fair. It shouldn't be a matter of it being sweet because everyone does it. Every second tackle from both teams last night I saw grapple at its worst, most going unpunished. But most teams do it so it is sweet?
I wasn't having a go at you, just don't like it. Take guys like Luke Bailey last night, he would never dive and guys like that should be rewarded for their efforts more than guys who stay down, put their hand in front of the camera and buy their team 2 points. What I meant is, unfortunately-and no I do not agree with this, like you-is that pretty much every player in the NRL does it at some stage. It is sad, and it is bad for our game, but compared to issues like the betting scandal and the salary cap rorts, I don't think it is all that bad considering how primary it is in other sports like football.
I agree with you mate, trust me.
