Gee Casper you aren't kidding about blooding the young players. I think that side would get lapped and the experience may set some of them back.
Bruest is not NRL standard, again with Filiga, Who is Ryan? and you have Webb starting, which I would be worried about.
Ryan is the back/2nd rower we got from the tigers a few weeks ago.
Webb is experienced and needs game time, if he lasts 10 minutes and gets replaced then that is better than not playing him. He will help the blooding of our juniors and help with enforcement if any nasty shit happens on the field. He can play 3 bursts of 10 to 15 minutes if required, ideally 20 minutes, but it's obvious he needs match fitness to get up to that 15 to 20 minute barrier.
Bruest, ok, just an idea to see how he goes.
Broncos will have a stack of players out due to SOO and injury, somewhere around 10 players. This will be a very good opportunity game to test out some of our best juniors. If they have the right attitude and they get lapped it will just be a huge learning experience and will provide a reference point for the standards required and to excel to if they want to be a permanent NRL player.
Best we break the young ones in now for the rest of this year so that they are NRL tested and hardened for next year. Letting go of Atkins & Morgan (yes he is injured) is a good place to start.
If I was coach I would drop Casey and Robson as well (or at least one of them) and bring in Humble, Reni, POH, Filiga (if he played well yesterday for Wenty) and Sio, though he might be a still a few weeks away.
