Thats not passion....thats ill discipline....and from a coach, any coach... thats pretty piss poor imo.
He wasnt celebrating anything good we did by shoving that bloke in the chest.
Air puching yes...shoving an opposition team member...nup.
you have to be kidding me dude.
its not rugby league and guus isnt nathan brown.
you dont see guus b*tch slapping one of the aussies in the face.
he had a right to be pissed. they scored a goal where it should have been a free kick for obstructing the keeper. the play before, viduka got the same free kick called against him and less than a minute later, the goal was scored.
they eventually got the fourth official to go over to him and settle him down.
the guy he pushed was one of the japs assistants, he was trying to run on the field before the ref allowed him to, to assist one of the japs faking an injury to waste time. the ref saw all of this, thats why he made them sub the player off and conitnue playing. if guus didnt hold him back, he would have run on the field and wasted time, so im glad hiddink did that.
also, guus didnt get told to walk or leave or anything. he stayed for the whole match and got the job done (and did it very well).
and for the record, the ref after the game apoligised for the call and admitted it should have been a free kick.
but once again, this isnt rugby league, there are no video refs to go back and call it again, once its been called, its final. i would have been throwing chairs at the ref if it was me.
guus is a champion.
if it wasnt for hiddink, australia wouldnt be in this position right now, he deserves all the respect in the world from us and even more. the guy is a legend in my books.
anyone who thinks otherwise can go back to sucking frank farinas d*ck...
