Yet we see no apology by the Kiwis for appealing for Dave Hussey's catch a metre down leg side..or Bracken's LBW missing leg by half a metre..

They were asking a question.

Haddin knew the answere yet still asked the question.

Are you trying to throw as much mud and hope it sticks in a quest to paint the aussies as the victims here or are you going for the two wrongs make a right defence ?

do you think a contrived result is not cheating ?

Well, it is obviously not in the spirit of the game- I'm not sure that it was against the rules, or how did he get away with it, especially doing it so flagrantly.

It was low and shameful- that's damning enough

Stephen Flemings actions were planned and obviously discussed. Haddins was an on the spot accident.

I know what I see as worse...

rubbish, you dont know what he was thinking

its a wicket keepers instinct to appeal and let the umpire make the decision

So when are the Aussies going to apoligise for appealing for McCullum's LBW?

there are so many incidents we could mention, but I think the umpire should be apologising for that one

pretty poor decision

I don't think any apologies are. I was just bringing that up in response to lockyno1's stupid post.

exactly

that's the absurdity of Haddin thinking an apology is owed to him

If anybody should be apologizing, its Oxenford and Bucknor, to both sides

So we have eventually agreed that BOTH sides got a few rough decisions..well poor didums that is cricket. It evened itself out in the end so I am not sure why you are complaining.

This is why a CHALLENGE SYSTEM needs tto be brought in. Each team has 2 incorrect challenges per innings.

Yes they are needed!

Haddin should apologise for being a dick... on the field, and then more importantly for his septic whinge afterwards

And locky the challenge system is stupid at the moment

And niether do you.

What is known is what we have all seen. A man is judged by his actions not what he may or may not have been thinking.

Indeed - we all saw what he did... and then we all saw the stupid interview he gave later.

My question is, why couldn't he simply say "yup, I f**ked up, my bad"... not all this BS about the ball hitting the wickets and Vetorri being a dog... what a genius

Vettori is a dog, but I agree that Haddin should have just sucked it up and said "I f**ked up.
