Word. I have Xbox Live, and that means Halo 2 is not just awesome, but awe-inspiring. On the old Halo, a four-player match was good for a couple of hours entertainment. Halo 2 online is a 32 player dawn to dusk extravaganza of thrilling excitement. Its the bee's knees.

Saw XBox Live in Toys'r'Us yesterday for $50, not on sale. Wasn't it always $100 a year?

To be honest, I don't think I'll get this... My mate bought it the launch but said he was thoroughly dissapointed with it... Apparently the story is absolutely shit house and there isn't that much improvement over the original in the gameplay... I was thinking of getting this, but I've recently also picked up Chronicals of Riddick and my mate reckons thats actually better!
Whats the verdict from you blokes?

I haven't finished it yet, but yeah, once I have I'm definately going through again! It's absolutely wicked!!! It uses the same graphics engine as doom 3 and was hailed as the best looking game ever on the XBOX, something that from what my mate tells me hasn't changed with the release of Halo 2...
The game is just so atmospheric though, it really gets you involved, I love it!

Got Halo2 today. Played the first 15 minutes of single player. Frantic. Better than the first game.
XBox live...........Quake 3 Arena all over again but better. The game looks for the best ping rates for you so you don't get fragged as soon as you join the game.
Dual weapons that you can fire independently with the left and right trigger buttons.
Get it, even if you don't want to play the single player game.

I got my copy today.

I didn't want it btw, my dad just gave it to me, my brother has been hiding in my room playing it all afternoon. :lol:

I'll have to play him in multiplayer soon.
