Why can't that dreadlocked prick do the right thing and retire. That would have freed up cap space

WT seem to be nice guys of the NRL, a place where hard calls are rarely made and the value of being nice and loyal is worth more than being hardnosed and making the tough calls. We have made some absolutely unfathomable contract extensions for current players (and lets not forget Sheens and Simmons on the coaching side of things). All we end up with is overpaid, injury prone, underachievers on their last legs into retirement eg Tiquiri. Long term contracts for average players eg Fulton and Ayshford are silly and lock us in for what purpose? Recruitment of players such as Blair has been a joke and Anasta's signing has been a puzzler. If the club wanted a strong half to be able to call the shots and keep Benji under control FFS recruit an established halfback even if we have to look to ESL.

Having just written this, reading it I really feel as if the club has lost itself lately with bad decisions at a club level indicating a loss of direction and purpose. Maybe Humphrey's has to go too?

What are you talking about, they make the big hard calls on the young kids like Miller

Just they dont like to upset the boys club, they could find themself out of a job

Lets be honest for whatever reason peeps gave Miller an easy ride. He might come good and if he does that is great but surely we shouldn't be giving players multiple chances based upon our performances so far.

To be fair though that attitude does need to go through the whole squad. Miller definitely deserves a spot over Anasta, Lote & Blair when our future options are considered. I just hope those players that aren't going to get us out of this spot are given their marching orders or significantly reduced contracts.

I love Benji but geez the club must be balking at resigning him on big coin.

Don't get the hate for Anasta, fully fit playing 7 in this current squad would see he and Marshall be pretty strong as a combo. I agree that some of the others need to go i.e. Blair & Lote.
Mixed feelings about Miller, probably wasn't given enough time but when he did play he hardly set the world on fire!!

To be fair, WT are the idiots that re-signed him. He's getting paid to run on a treadmill FFS, as if he wouldn't take the $$$?
