Not to me. I am interesting in the processes involved of grating skippers though. It sounds a tad harsh.

If we polarised the wingers with the grater allowing the fullback space I'd agree with you, we would then have a chance with Orford slotting in behind the rickshaw. It would not be so harsh then. What do you thought?

Away all weekend... only managed to watch the game last night. Thought the halves played pretty well. Ball movement and long passing and kicking game was greatly improved. A long way to go, but credit where its due.

since i started this thread, my verdict from the weekend is:

the halves did enough to stay, for another week or so lol

- Mortimer = i think again, got a little better, developed a little more. His cut out pass for what ended up being Luke's first try was very nice, in fact i think he even surprised himself a bit ha ha. Really he was playing like the halfback or first receiver for much of the game. Better kicking game in general play, but tended to go a little bit missing later in the game = 7.5/10

- Robson = tad quiet at times, but then popped up and was useful at other times. Is best when he takes the line on as he has a quite useful running game - although this again makes him well suited to Hooker also. Solid again in defence, however, in attack he was often playing a link role or fill-in role, rather than being a dominat first reciver - save for a couple of occasions = 6.5/10

- Hayne = best half in the team on the night. Stood at second receiver most of the game and had a hand in two tries, literally serving Morgan's try to him on a platter. More time with the ball in hand in those situations would see him more consistent with his cut out passes and more selective also, which would lead to a better concversion rate = 7.5/10

I will shelve my quest for Jarryd to wear the 6 for now, as he is effectively playing 6 or second receiver in attack the majority of the time. However, on one hand, its nice as it is proving to be increasingly successful. On the other hand, it is frustrating as he could be so much better and the team could be so much better if he were simply given the keys to the team and SK said here is the No: 6, now go do your thing!!!
