Turnbull has turned 16 this year if I am not mistaken, will play SG Ball next year.

I am on the ball today, highlights are done and are uploading. Will take roughly an hour to upload with Australia's shitty throttling on uploads (Telstra Cable still has shitty uploads) and then a bit longer to process on YouTube.

Turnbull is 16 this year. Both are fantastic talents they have a very similar style in the way they play. Dargan is more of a dominant kicker though. Luckily both play on opposite sides of the field so in 5-7 years time we could see them as our first grade halves pairing.

So just looking at the statistics, it appears that in the last 20 years (more than the entire history of the NRL competition) that No Club has won a Harold Matthews in any given year and then gone on to win a Premiership in the following 5 to 15 year period later (ages 20/21 to 30/31 of that years Harold Matthews). In fact there is very few instances where teams have even made the Grand Final during the subsequent period.

However, Parra have won 9 of the last 21 Harold Matthews Premierships...

Go figure.

PS - Incidentally the Gold Coast Seagulls were Premiers and Runners Up two years running in the early 90s...bizarre

Baked freshly out of the interwebs, here are the highlights from the dominant win by our boys today.

Could have been 38-2 as well, more than a hint of a knock on in the Balmain try.

We will now play the Cronulla Sharks in the Grand Final. They proved to be one our better opponents this year with the end result of our Rd.2 fixture falling 22-12 in our favour.

Travis has been a great find for the club from Peter Nolan. He and the Eels club have some very high wraps on him. Hopefully he gets picked for the QLD U/16's later on this year and with his current form I don't see any reason why he wouldn't.
