Has every team in the comp now been last in the comp at least once in their history?

Do any of the posted stats change if you exclude Round 1 tables? Seems a bit meaningless to include as you only need one bad game to be on the bottom of the ladder.

Would be better to say "teams that have been on the bottom of the table for at least 5 weeks straight"

We were first after Round 4, 2009. Don't think we've hit top this year because of Melbourne's better PD.

Round 1 1997. Toweled up the Titans iirc...

We put 40 past the Roosters in round 1, 2010. Iirc. I think they scored 20 odd in return but we would surely have led the table at some point that year.

University - Round 4, 1920 was the first time they were last. (2 games without being last - they had a bye in Round 1)

Strangely enough, around midway through 2000 they were outright second with a negative points differential.

its all relevant, balmain tigers have won 11 comps in their history and 4 wooden spoons. western suburbs magpies have won 4 comps and 17 wooden spoons. as a merged club wests tigers have won 1 comp and have never won the wooden spoon.

seriously though, over the last 25 years they are the team with the most finals appearances and have never looked like finishing 3 or 4 places from the bottom of the comp, let alone last. they just do their homework about who to keep and who to develop and always have. and players at the end of their contracts are generally happy to stay for less money.
