Has Todd Carney found a new club?

I enjoy having a wank.....and I have been living with my girlfriend for 5 years now.

I thought it was normal for a guy to enjoy wanking, and as much as possible without risking your eye sight. Am I wrong?

Actually, I have seen stats somewhere years ago that said around 90% of guys who do not wank when young, turn out to be homosexual when they are old enough to discover their sexuality.

Anyway.....brb in 5 mins :sarcasm:
 A man with stamina.

:D Fair enough. You forgot that with Souths you go to a club that is the pride of the league. :sarcasm:

That I did.

I must say, I secretly wanted Todd to go to Souths, just to get an explosive rd 1, despite the fact that Todd is up there with my favourite non-sharks players.

My source has had alot of contact in the discussions, and believe me, he knows this is his last chance.

Todd has had regular phone calls with NRL figures to make sure he is in the right frame of mind, regardless on who he signs with.

This is the last chance saloon.

he didnt take any of the other "last chance" warnings seriously?

he's a deadshit and the NRL is better off without players like this in the game. it's sad that we rank his footballing talents so highly we ignore his obvious stupidity and inability to conduct himself as a person off the field

Wrong choice of words?? :p Personally I would like to see him work this out. It would be a waste of talent otherwise. He was under constant media watch while at the Roosters and it was probably one of the reasons for a poor season this year. I hope he can stay under the radar.

As for Rd1, trust me Todd doesn't have to be there for it to be explosive. The Roosters and Souths fans have little love for each other and it permiates to the teams.

That can be the description for a lot of players.

Indeed it can, there are NRL players that are serial offenders. Todd just seems to be flavours of the day, 365 days a year.

Boooring. Football > off-field rubbish. Dead set, who gives a f**k. The worst thing he did at the Roosters was disrespect his team mates by breaking a team pact.

Agree to disagree.

Sure, its not a bad thing to do, but to say to your mates, lets all get off the drink, then 2 days later go out and booze on, is actually a mateship broken.
Whatever the reasons it be, its still the wrong thing to do.

He also got done drink driving the day after the drink, but I have had that done as well. That is a mis-judgement and not a reflection of character.

Not to the extent of Carney.

Im sure I can name two Anthony Watmough incidents worse than Carney's.

He seems to have trouble keeping to his word - told David Gallop he'd stay off the grog & then broke the team pact to stay off the grog.

You misunderstand me - I actually really mean that was the worst thing he did in his 2 years at the Roosters. It was the only thing I was actually bothered by. But hardly a reason to be dergistered by the NRL. What next, we'll start banning people who skip a training session?

I couldn't give a f**k if he drinks, and how many of us have got in our car the next morning feeling fine from the night before but not actually knowing?

I must admit Monday morning 6:20am I was a bit jittery after a few watching the sunday footy fest.

Carney is clearly a goose on the grog (if not off it too), but he doesn't seem to be a thug or woman basher, which is more than be said for a number of current nrl players.

The impression I get is he's just not too bright...easily led. Never heard anyone say he's an arsehole or an arrogant prick. IF the guy ever takes responsibility for his own life he'll be whatever he wants in Rugby League. If not he'll bounce from club to club until everyone decides he's no longer worth the trouble.

i'm not sure who's calling fro him to be de-registered, my point is that clubs should be able to say "thats not the player i want at my club" rather than hiding behind this de-registering bullshit.

remember when he got sacked from canberra, part of the alleged proviso for his sacking was the raiders wanted him deregistered. If Canberra didnt want him he should have been sacked, but i dont see why the nrl had to de-register him as well. Right now we read (yes its speculation) that he has to talk to the NRL and promise gallop shit blah blah blah. he hasn't committed any major crimes (well i'd argue that crashing a car and leaving your teammate there whilst you ran off is one), he was sacked from the rooster for disciplinary reasons not because he bet on the other team, he has no actual reason to be de-registered but i'd argue he has a shitload of other problems he seems to have no interest in looking after and i don't understand why any so called "professional" clubs would want a bar of him.

I'm sick of people in the media like the footy show suck ups calling for chance number 650 because he's a young bloke with talent. how many chances to give a bloke? I have no idea what went on at the roosters but that last (non)incident had to be the straw that broke the camels back. i wonder how much other shit he did that the roosters knew about

He shouldn't have to promise Gallop anything...shouldn't be any of his business. Like you said, no crime was committed, he dogged his teammates.

+, making ridiculous promises is what lets him down 90% of the time anyway. Why anyone who clearly loves a few too many drinks would tell the media and the NRL boss repeatedly that they're off the drink is beyond me. asking for a fall
