Hasler and the Dogs - What happened?

They average like 14 points a game. Most of that comes off Kasiano's couple 12min stints and a hail mary play from Reynolds. Woods will give more minutes than Kasiano but the barnstorming run and offload will not feature.

Foran will probably provide a bit more structure and direction on the left, but he's not gonna pull arsey points outta nowhere like Reynolds and I personally think Foran is shot - even if he finds his best form I don't think it'll be enough.

Horrible recruitment. Unless Foran fires, Nu Brown will probably be their best pick up. Last thing they needed was another high priced forward. Des has tipped over the edge from genius to mad man.

Didnt see the Knights and Dragons yesterday or the Titans today?

I didn't see those games but I'm confident to say the Bulldogs are the most boring, uninspiring side I've seen in a long time.

Knights will get the spoon but I'd be a lot prouder and optimistic if I were a Knights fan than Doggies fan. They seem to acknowledge they're shit and look to improve on their deficiencies, whereas the Bulldogs think a couple high priced signings will fix a team with seemingly no footy nous or attacking prowess. If your halves are so bad that you're better off taking a last play tackle over a kick you're in some f**ken strife.

So is Des stuffed? The Dogs looked like they were actively playing worse to get tid of him last night. A weird sort of match fixing.

Players out of form(Graham), overrated players(Jackson), weird selections(Stanley at 6). I think it's a combo of Des goading the club to punt him and players generally not giving a f*ck. They are in a big hole and have yet to reach the bottom(Woods joins them next year).

f**k they looked so lost in attack, you can tell they have tried to rush in some changes and confused the players.

Hasler is clearly trying to get sacked, he gets a million dollar pay day when he does. He will still get picked up by another club pretty quickly. If he is not trying to get the flick, what possible explanation is there for his selections?

I mentioned in another thread that since Lichaa has been moved to the bench he played only 22mins in 3 games. Even when we had 2 players leave the Panthers game injured, Lichaa still only played 8mins. He was dropped for last night and was replaced on the bench by Frawley who played a whopping ZERO minutes.

Moving Stanly to halfback is simply puzzling.

Wests players did the same early in the season. It only took one loss for the club's management to get the message. The difference being, of course, Jason Taylor is not Des Hasler.

He knows they won't sack him, and whatever happens next year is bound to be an improvement on what is happening now. So its a win/win for him.

Trent might still be coach of the year
Bellyache is the best coach going around, with daylight second. They often give COTY to someone who has lifted their side to a higher position on the ladder, but for Barrett that margin is getting slimmer with every game. Maybe Arthur should be in the running.

I was just having a bit of a dig at Manly's fickle fans.
As for Bellamy, the Storm would have to take out the GF.
