It was Chris Anderson 2007 as coach of the Roosters.
Round 1 vs Souths he did it.
Why do i remember this? Cause i had a 5 leg multi with last leg Roosters to win....they didn't

Yep. The one marker experiment that ended one glorious day at Brookie when Manly pasted them 54 nil.

Next week.....Freddy's in charge with with 2 markers.

This image from NRL.COM really sums it all up nicely.

That was when Mbye had hold of Alvaro and then just let him go and faced the other way waiting for the play the ball as Alvaro scored.
How's the look on Graham's face.

He has proven he can build a team and be successful but he has also shown that he won't deviate from his plan no matter how bad it's going.

In the early years at the dogs he developed a style that worked well with the personnel we had. He has refused to change this style despite having a different roster an ageing team and a game plan that no longer works.

This was THE YEAR that he was going to change it all up. It didn't work...time to go Mr Hasler.

The shit thing is he will go to another club and most likely be successful again.

Hasler is a myth .

Dymock was the one that created the style and implemented that style in the back half of the year when he took over Kevin Moore as interim coach and they went on a winning streak

Yes @ manly he did great , but he also left them in a massive mess with back ended contracts same issue facing the dogs now

I wonder if Hasler is secretly a triple agent.

Toovey was coaching Manly from on the field . . . if trainers were recognized by the media he'd be an 'Immortal'

And it all happened because the honourable Uncle Wayne reneged on his handshake agreement with Nick Politis.

And so we were left on short notice clamouring for another coach and the best we could apparently come up with was a relic in Ando.

Sad times indeed.

It should be noted as well that the only reason the Dogs did so well in 2012 was that the refs allowed them to form an offensive line for Ben Barba to run behind.

It was like they had John Ogden, Walter Jones, Willie Roaf and Orlando Pace playing on their edges.

Thankfully the NRL caught on in 2013 and that bullshit was outlawed.

It's a Bulldogs fire sale, everything must go!!!

Apparently it's the reason the team is faltering at the moment James Graham, the Morris twins, Moses Mbye and Greg Eastwood are being shopped heavily but so far no takers.

Of course there'll be no takers now. They'll wait till they can pick them up at a virtual song, with the Dogs having to pay a substantial portion of their signing fees in desperation. Also until the salary cap is finalised, few clubs know how much space they have left I dare say.
