Maybe its something that the nrl encourages, grow the game as a whole.Crush I'd say he would be open & accomodating when the club is no threat to the Storm Juggernaut. Otherwise the NRL have told the Dragons to pay up or relocate!!!

Then it's probably a jaunt to see the Big bash at MCG plus some Group 1 racing at Flemington & right it off as a business trip to view Storm facilities.Board members
Starting to put a few puzzle pieces together regarding Hasler and if he will coach the Dragons in 2018 (or sooner)
1: The Dogs have not renewed Hasler's contract to date and removed an "offer" last year. This was about the same time there were rumours of us seeking a coach for 2017 to replace McGregor. Cleary seemed to be the one in question but later "declined". Hasler was in confrontation with the Dogs board.
2: Both McGregor's and Hasler's contracts expire in 2017.
3: Signing of Hunt. Although his could be seen as just a kid setting himself up for the future.
4: McGregor stating in an interview "Wether that be at the Dragons or somewhere else"
5: Reports from a very reliable source that Hasler and Cleal will be here in 2018
6: McGregor's retraction from all duties bar coaching (if you can call it that).
Point 6 is the most interesting IMO and it leads me to believe, and taking in point 4, that McGregor is our HC in 2017 and that's it. I think Hasler will come, but the interesting part is wether McGregor stays on as an assistant (ala McFadden) or is pushed out altogether. Personally, I prefer the latter option. In fact, McGregor could be just coaching this year to support his case to "stay on" in an assistant capacity.
Whilst it is all supposition, there does seem a noticeable distancing of McGregor and the HC role. One which I hope will lead to bigger and better things to come.
Not one of, I'd suggest. Which is why the Dogs won't part with him.He is a top coach and has been one of the most successful in the last decade with his team's making 50% of the last 10 GFs.
It would be an unimaginable mistake by the Dogs to do so. But they almost did and he hasn't re-signed as yet and one look on the Kennel forum is enough to suggest that the fans for some reason don't want him. I hope the Dogs stuff this one up.Not one of, I'd suggest. Which is why the Dogs won't part with him.
Yeah agreed but why would bellamy be so open? Is that common you reckon?
Well obliviously they have ran-out of their supplies of Crown Lager , and decided to go direct to the brewery for a top-up .
But with our bunch of knuckle heads that run the show , they have instead ended at the Storm headquarters . Perhaps Bellamy felt sorry for them for losing their way , so decided to give them the royal tour .
It's good that they finally want to improve. It's shit that it's taken this long, and (if true) involves our board of f**king directors who have sat on their ass for the best part of 20 years going to see it for themselves, rather than ensuring that we had competent people from the CEO down who understand best practice. It's bloody good that our mob are wanting to see the Storms facilities. At least they are looking for improvement and why not take on board what the best in the business have to say.
A good mate says by far and away, the Storm have the best set up and player facilities in the comp. He has players at quite a few clubs but the Storm are streets ahead.
Nobody said it wasn't harmless, just discussing it thats all.Lol this topic is quiet amusing.
They only showed the facilities.
They didnt show the "game plans" (although that would'v been very helpfull if they did)!
Maybe we are looking at hosting a game in melbourne and wanted to see the facilities?
Either way, to me at least, its a harmless incident.
And on Hasler, lets all hope we get the signiture on the agreement both parties came to really soon.
They were never sacking him. The meeting in the offseason was more of a debrief. They do need some attacking potency though, they are relying on big forwards too much.It would be an unimaginable mistake by the Dogs to do so.
