Champion: not likely tool
Yeah...Orford won the Dally M at Manly. Crazy I know. Steve Bell also played pretty well - but he was always consistent anyways.
Maloney was not a regular first grader but clearly he's gone onto better things. Nathan Friend was one of the best bench players in the league before he went to the Tits and played great - but don't think he was any better..just got more minutes.
Apart from that...

The list goes on and on and on...
I never really rated Blair that much to begin with. Good player, but not great. He keeps getting labelled 'Best forward in the world' but I've never understood why.
Brett White: no
Disagree. He's been good for us.
The worst part of the Blair signing is the depth the Tigers have sacrificed.
Their bench is horrible, and their pack has lost every forward battle this season.
When people say 'I hate to say I told you so' they really mean 'Haha I told ya so you stupid merkin'

He's on par with Sandow at least Sandow can say the Eels are just crap.
Murdoch Masela has been good this year as has Moors (when selected), but we left ourselves too thin, we pretty much were relying on Galloway, Bell and some kids to be our front row rotation and in round 1 we lose Galloway for several weeks, Bell is our only front rower left with more than 50 games to his name, the rest of them (Woods, Murdoch, Moors, Groat) would be luck to have 50 games between them.
Which is, I think, more proof of how good Bellamy is and the Storm culture is. Yeah yeah, cheats etc - but you look at the way blokes have played for him at Storm who have been nuffies once they've left, and it's strong evidence.
