Looks like he is staying put thank god for that he is a pathetic whinny toss from a team of whingers coached by a wank, wankers should stick together.

What a BS story this has been from the start he and his manager have carried on like a pair of spoilt brats who shouldn't be any where near the greatest game in the world.

Player managers are a blight on the game and as long as people like Humpty dumpty run clubs this will always happen.

Ink,

we signed a contract with him, it's not unreasonable to expect someone to fulfil the contract they signed. It appears he is not coming, & I'll doubt you'd find one dragon fan/official that's overly upset about not getting him.

The West tigers on the other hand, couldn't get him to renege on their and his word quick enough.

Great club indeed.

West Tigers are right up there with melbourne, an integrity free zone.

That's a long bow there.
It's been a silly mess, but to compare it to the $torm is gilding the lilly beyond measure.

I thought it was obvious and a simple comparison. I did say they were like melbourne an integrity free zone.

No mention of anything else. Obviousy not much integrity at the WT.

I'll continue to support the club - even though they've not been behaving with complete clarity in their dealings with players. Managers have also been poor.

Every club behaves poorly at times. Look at the uproar when Gasnier retired. Many wanted action taken. Personally, I see no problem with his personal decision as long as it meets NRL salary cap requirements.

As for the Moltzen situation, yes, his manager, Wests Tigers and St George Illawarra have all handled this pretty poorly. Secure a release.
In writing.

Then sign and honour a new contract. That's what I'd like to see.

Personally, I think he's a player of merit with deficiencies in his game that must be improved to maintain a spot in the top grade. I'd love to see him kick on at the Tigers, but if he moves to the Dragons, best of luck, thanks and bye.

It's cheating. Releasing a player, circumstance changes then screw over another club who has the players signature because you now have space under the cap. Pretty damn low, and damaged our roster significantly for 2012. I really hope Schubert rules in our favour, just so we can screw over the little prick of a turncoat. I never want to see him wearing our colours though.

Happens about 10% of the time before announcements are made. Saints have acted in accordance with common protocol in the NRL, I'm sure all clubs will now re-evaluate how things are handled from now on and certainly in their dealings with the Tigers. What is for certain though is the Tigers have acted like the scum they are. You're defending the indefensible.

.

There are only 2 options Moltz is in the wrong or tigers are in the wrong

If moltz signed a legally binding contract before securing a realease from his current binding contract then he is in the wrong

If the tigers went back on granting Moltz a realease then they are in the wrong but that is for moltzen to prove

I think there needs to be greater scrutiny of the role of Moltzen's manager.

After all he is the one that advised Moltzen to sign the contract with the Saints and now to come around and say the situation would be "intolerable" is quite damming of his ethics.

The Saints have done nothing wrong here other than probably too soft on the whole situation. The Tigers' management have acted poorly.

When was their minds changed?

I doubt any of us will know the entire story, and I dont like the way its played out....I agree you give your word, stick to it.
I think this will come back to bite humpty several times over in future

Scum, indefensible blah blah blah.

The amount of vitriol is childish. Why waste the space in the cap on a player so many Dragons fans want to see punted to state cup? That's an even sillier move.
