So from now on I can expect no one to cry about anything a storm player does in regards to a chicken wing or feet first tackle?

Last year people were going on and on about Billys sliding having the potential to cause injury and he should be stopped now a player actually hurts another with a very similar technique and you all are falling over yourselves to say it is not worthy of suspension.

It either is or is not acceptable and the next game being a grand final should have nothing to do with how the charge is graded.

feet 1st is a different story mate

Both result in the same potential for injury so I fail to see how it is different.

Also according to the results of grading the NRL thinks dropping you knees onto a player is worse than sliding into them feet first.

Lucky for you the NRL chose to charge him with the easy option.

Burt had scored the try & was facing away from Gibbs. Hayne was contesting a loose ball. The difference is like night & day, I don't understand why people think there is an issue here.

High profile player, tall poppy syndrome.

As would Cam Smith

The only thing Cam Smith did wrong was take the guilty plea for a charge earlier in the year as opposed to fighting it - he himself stated that he should have and he probably would have gotten off.

Both Hayne and Smith received grade one charges - Smith had carryover points, Hayne didn't.

not only that but had an increase in loading of points because of previous charges...
