Hayne is a decent player and we're kidding ourselves if we think he would not improve our line up.

For mine its just a matter of his current value, or at least what BA values him at. If he is keen to come back, then lets so how keen he is. He can forget his $1.2 mill as for mine that would cause issues with balance and salary cap.

If I had to value him I would offer about $600 or possibly a bit more, maybe some TPAs 1 year and another year option, nothing long term due to his past. Lets see if he is really interested or he just wants to milk us for salary cap as we have plenty, then he can f**k right off.

BUT I also think that jarryd expects to be paid big bucks for his services ... he has an ego and being up there on the big bucks the big names are getting helps satisfy that ego ... i cannot believe he takes a massive pay cut ... Another thing to consider here is that the inclusion of Hayne negates the need for Feldt who I would assume would cost us 250-300k (not that I think he's worth anywhere near that but he has won a premiership and kicks). French moves to the wing so assuming Hayne does in fact take a 850k salary, it's really only a 500k difference which for mine, we'd be crazy not to consider.
