While I agree Hayne was always far more talented than Hindmarsh, it's wrong to say he only got into the NRL because of hard work. Hindmarsh was the best forward in the world for a couple of years either side of 2005. He had plenty of natural talent.
Absolutely. It's actually been documented that he was a bit of a lazy merkin when he was younger.

Talent got him into the NRL. Hard work ensured he became the only Eel to play 300 first grade games.

Yeah I probably should have worded it differently... along the lines that Hindmarsh, IMO, got every last ounce of talent out of himself, via that hard work, and the results were there for all to see in the years 98 to circa 2007

Ridiculous hair though.

He's worth f**k all. It wouldn't be viable for titans to pay the bulk of his salary. I can't see him leaving or left to walk, nor can I see him taking a paycut

I think a lot will depend on the incoming coach but if Hayne really wants to come back home than I'm sure both clubs would be more than happy to make it happen...
obviously we wouldn't be paying anywhere near the sort of coin his on and at the same time it'll give the titans a bit of breathing space on their cap..

Blame Hagan, he left all the discipline up to the senior playing group. The younger blokes resented it
and that put a wedge in the playing group that never really healed.

Yep, I heard direct from the late Chad Robinson that Hagan let the younger guys get away with murder and the senior players were jack of it and he completely lost them.

Hagan then said as much when he resigned that he couldn't handle the gen Y players.

Not that I would really want him back - but he would be a much better player for us than the tits. It is pretty clear that his heart is not in it - so you will never perform at your best. The only thing missing in Haynes career is a premiership - if he played for a side that was a chance of winning one - he would play out of his skin imo

He was desperate for an origin series win and look how we performed when he knew he was close.

Nor a cap, or anything to do with Juniors. Cut and paste was his forte.

You mean this guy admitted he had no idea how to coach young blokes??
