Hayne's best right of reply to articles crtiquing his performance would be on the NRL field, however that's been a place where he hasn't brought his A-game for 3 years now.

Yep. He does, but I think he is on a hiding to nothing when he does reply.

I'd like to see him just knuckle down and silence people with his on field exploits. A couple of standout games for the Titans and the grubby journos will be forced back into their box.

But bludged in the first 40 mins, and left his "brilliance" too late to snag a team win.

All good to get Hayne a share of the medal though, which sadly is where his mtovation always seems to lie - not for the team, but for his own glory. That's kind of the point why BA/we were happy to let him go early (and pay him for the privilege, iirc?), and why we'd be stufpid to sign the guy back.

I still think he's a dick and I still think he is struggling. My point was that if he plays a couple of ball tearingly good games many people will be quick to forget the shit performances. Its how it works with Rugby League fans who have memories like gold fish.
