Yeah, much as I think wealthy celebrities are on a pretty good wicket, in this case they're the only one with something to lose, which makes it unfair. Would be good if civil cases like this could be a private matter but I dunno how that would work.

Sports stars that have been responsible for some of the most hideous misdemeanours are regularly welcomed back into the fold if they are good enough. In fact, if they come back and do great things on the field it isn't long before they are celebrated as 'heroes' again.
