who knows? the case didn't make it to court so it never got ruled on
so because he wasn't charged and didn't go to court you are saying he is not innocent

it's always innocent until proven guilty and he will never be found guilty seeing as he was never charged

No he's not, you complete and utter thickshit.

He is saying that not having enough evidence to charge him does not mean nothing happened. It doesn't mean he's innocent any more than it means he's not innocent. It means that there wasn't sufficient evidence to mount a case.

Get it?

he is you dumb f**k

get your carer to read and explain this to you

Lol.

I'll say it again, read it slowly. Go to www.dictionary.com if you still need assistance with the meaning of words. Such as innocent, for example. You seem to not quite grasp that one.

He is not saying that he is not innocent.

He is saying that there were no charges laid due to a lack of evidence.

He is also saying that a lack of evidence does not make someone innocent. It simply means there wasn't enough evidence of guilt.

That does not mean that he is saying Hayne isn't innocent.

so therefore he refused to say he was innocent when asked if he was

his exact words were "who knows?"

dense prick just digging your hole even deeper

Because nobody but Hayne and maybe the chick knows if he is innocent, you absolute dumbf**k!

How can anyone say he is innocent or guilty when there was no evidence either way by the time the complaint was made? It becomes nothing but individual opinion.

That's exactly the point he is making, the point that you simply cannot grasp. We cannot say he is innocent any more than we can say he is guilty. A hamster would have understood that after the first explanation. You'd be outwitted by a wilted bunch of celery...

Still like to know how you can be sore 4 months after giggy giggy. Maybe I'm just a dumb male.

You can break your leg and heal in that time.

the US 6th amendment says he is innocent

Christ...you'd have been an exhibit at a zoo if you were born 100 years ago.

Literally no one is talking about the US constitution. You don't even understand the amendment you're quoting ffs.

In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial, by an impartial jury of the State and district wherein the crime shall have been committed, which district shall have been previously ascertained by law, and to be informed of the nature and cause of the accusation; to be confronted with the witnesses against him; to have compulsory process for obtaining witnesses in his favor, and to have the Assistance of Counsel for his defence

He cannot be innocent under the 6th amendment because there was never a trial. He also cannot be considered guilty for the same reason. NO-ONE KNOWS WHAT HAPPENED AND THERE WAS NO EVIDENCE TO MOUNT A PROSECUTION.

Do you get it yet? No evidence does not automatically equal innocence, in the same way that evidence does not automatically equal guilt. That's the point. That's been the point the whole time. If you still don't get that, then I would advise you submit yourself for medical study because the scientific community would love to know how someone without a functioning cerebrum has survived so long.

Am I right in saying, under whatever stupid American law this civil suit is conducted, that even if the act was consensual and they both enjoyed themselves immensely at the time, that if she suffered any kind of mental or physical injury that she's still likely to receive some kind of compensation?

Are you formulating a cunning plan that involves a trip to the U.S.?

I love this site. We're fortunate enough to be privy to the minds of high flying legal eagles, NRL club board members, coaches, team selectors, football managers, journalists, chefs & food critics, building site inspectors, cable and electrical contractors and a marine biologist. Did I miss anything?
