That being the case, how do the Titans go about tapping into the KIWI population and converting them to regular attendees?

That tackle on Bodene Thompson was out of this world.

Out of this world? Oh come on Tommy
One on one tackles by small men on big guys at the goal line literally happen every game

It was a good tackle. Nothing more. Christ haha

I'd say best first tackle back after two years away ever.

Free crates of Speights upon entry to the ground??

Maybe some ladies on standby at halftime to cook the men some eggs??

This is why Jarryd Hayne is worth it.

TITANS boss Graham Annesley has revealed potential sponsors attempted to take advantage of the Gold Coast’s financial woes by making ludicrous offers for naming rights deals during the club’s darkest days.

The Titans yesterday announced a five-year extension of their naming rights deal with development giant Aquis, with Annesley confirming the deal was one of the richest in the NRL.

Its happy days for the Titans. I hope they have a 2017 season ticket drive in place.
One thing is they really need a proper jersey design. Something clearly distinguishable and permanent...even all white with a yellow V or a blue V. Maybe even just steal the Bears colours.

I think so. I think the consensus was that no-one could find any written rules preventing it from occurring ...

My recollection without reading it all again was that ECT was actually correct in that the signing shouldn't have happened according to the NRL's rules, but it doesn't matter because the NRL just registered his contract anyway because they wanted to, and we know how consistently they operate.

Nope.

The transfer deadline only applies to players already contracted with an NRL team. As Hayne had no existing contract, he had no issue with the transfer deadline. Theoretically they could have signed him just to play in the last round and it would have been ok.
